It was a learning tool for my 7 year old with ADHD who has some visual perception problems but he just viewed the game as fun. It kept his attention because it was quick moving and he didn't get bored. My 8 year old boy enjoyed the game as well.

doodle dice

This game can be played by anyone 7 or 8 and up. It is a game of chance, as any dice game, but it is fun trying to make the shapes that are on the cards. Our family has hours of fun playing doodle dice. This is why I'm buying other families this game for the holidays.
