My son is 13 and has shown interest in engineering--loves to build stuff. This kit used the word -engineering so I thought it would be great. He's built two of the seven structures but doesn't like the idea of taking each apart to build another. Needless to say, we still have Big Ben and he hasn't touched the kit in 2 weeks. It seemed like with that many pieces and the price, a kid could build each without a tear-down. Oh well, maybe he's just too old for it.
