They are the right size for my 3 year old nephew who is loving them. That there are three different balls appeals to him.

This was an after thought when shopping - you know, just a little something else, but it turned out to be the best of the three items we bought. They are a great size and have taking quite a bit of middle schooler abuse and still look great!
