I thought the product was okay. I bought 3 of these (one for each of 3 kids ages 3, 6, 6) for a long road trip. It was definitely not appropriate for the 3 year-old. He just used the pages to scribble. It was better suited for the two 6 year-olds. Although, they did better with it when they had some adult guidance.

I purchased for easter gifts for the kids to take in the car, however, when I received I realized that a pencil not a marker/crayon was in the package. Unfortunately, the two year old can't have a pencil but crayons will work fine. But older child will have 2 pencils to go with hers.
