Great gift!

Our 2-year old grandson love trains, and at the suggestion of his mom, we purchased this set. We couldn't have chosen a better gift! Andrew played with the set non-stop for over 2 hours! The fact that his "Thomas" engines also fit on the track was a big plus.

Perfect Gift!

I ordered this train set for out 2 yr old nephew whose Momma is a school teacher! I hoped the "Fat Brain" name would carry weight with her and I have always tried to purchase educational and age appropriate toys for children in our family. When Carter opened his train box, I was a little upset.. I had not checked the "size" of the train pieces and had anticipated them being muich larger. However, it was just perfect for his little 2 yr old hands and the magnets in the ends of the train cars made connecting them a breeze. He would open other gifts happily and say the sweetest things about each item as well as "thank you's", but he kept going back to the Nuchi train. He also received a Thomas Train, and several other great toys. but this one was the winner! He couldn't wait to get it home to set up the track etc. He rolled that train all over the living room tonight! Thanks Fat Brain for making sure parents and family members get THE BEST quality toys made!

My two year old son said he wanted a "choo choo and a track." After searching the internet for several days, I chose this one. I'm kind of an aesthetic snob even when it comes to toys, but I love the quality of the wood and the colors of these train pieces. And it's a perfect size for a preschooler's first train set...not too big or small. Also, the track pieces fit many other brands, so it will be easy to add to it when he needs a more challenging track set up.
