It's colorful and looks beautiful while the puzzle is done. I was very surprised to see bare and exposed particleboard under the letters. No color, no design, not even a clear coating to make it look finished. There are many name puzzle options out there for the same price with a higher level of total quality. If it wasn't custom and could be returned I'd probably return this and purchase elsewhere. As it is I'll probably try to pretty it up a bit myself to make it look more finished and interesting for my daughter.

It is okay, the paint on one of the letters is discolored and the wood is a bit rough, I would have liked a better/smoother finish.

I purchased this product as a gift for my 1-year old niece. She immediately began taking all the letters out and then trying to place them back in the slots. I opted for the primary colors model because we are teaching her color and letter recognition. She loves to take the letters from the board and match them to letters in her books.

The puzzle looks great. My two year old nephew began playing with it as soon as he got the paper off it. I bought one for his older brother a few years back, and the little one had to just watch his big brother play. Now they get to play with their name puzzles side by side. Their dad is as happy as they are because tears no longer follow when the puzzles are pulled out of the cabinet.

I was a little worried the quality of this product would be sub par when it shipped so quickly ( I had ordered difficult names so I was expecting it to take more than a few hours to ship) but I was proven completely wrong! Not only are the puzzles I ordered beautiful but I received them within 4 days of placing my order!

Puzzle is appropriately size for the age group. Once they outgrow puzzle they can hang on the door or in their room.

I think it's a great product. It's a great way for my child to learn the letters if their name and some colors. It's also good for hand eye coordination. It seems to be built well. I also like how the edges are smoothed so my child doesn't get slivers or scraped from it.

I bought this for my neice on her first birthday. She's a little too young to appreciate it but I think in the next few months she'll start understanding puzzles more and I hope this puzzle will help her learn her name and how to spell it. The puzzle is well made and seems sturdy enough for an infant. The letters are big and easy to handle, and the colors are pretty (I ordered pastel letters). My brother and sister-in-law thought it was very cute, and I think they liked the idea of gluing the letters down to the wood when my niece has outgrown this toy and to make a wall decoration out of it. The best part about this gift was the speed in which it arrived. I ordered Feb 1 and it arrived Feb 7, even though it was custom made! The price is also the best I've found on the internet!

I was disappointed with the quality of craftmanship. The color on the puzzle pieces was not even. It looked like a rushed spray paint job and one of the letters was stuck to the paper wrapped around it and the paint came off so the texture is not smooth. I chose fat brain specifically because I thought the quality of the name pieces would be better than other options. I am sad to say I will not recommend or be purchasing this again.

The puzzle looks great but we were very disappointed that it is constructed of a pressboard type material and NOT wood. Durability is questionable.

This is a very visually attractive puzzle. The primary colors are very eye catching-the size is perfect for little fingers and the whole idea makes interactive learning with grandma thrown in , very easy.

I bought the personalized puzzle for my 22-month old grandson who is learning his letters, but he has not seen yet. I viewed a number of websites before placing my order and noted some negative comments from other companies that had personalized puzzles -- the main one being that it would be hard to put the letter into the space unless turned exactly so!! Too frustrating for a little one. The puzzle arrived much faster than I expected - within a week which is amazing for personalization- and I'm delighted with it and can't wait for him to see it. And, yes, the pieces fit in extremely easily!!

This isn't my daughter's favorite toy because she isn't into puzzles but I bought this because puzzles are important and I figured it would work on simple puzzle manipulating, letters, and spelling her name all in one. I love the quality of this puzzle. Best name puzzle I looked at in terms of learning value. The letters are not bubble and not squished together like some puzzles I saw- they are clear and distinct. Nice size too. Plan on gluing the letters down when she's older and hanging it on her door as a decoration.

The puzzle is well made and a good teaching tool for a young child to learn the letters in his or her name. I gave it to my grand daughter who is not yet two, and she is just learning to do puzzles. I expect she will have more fun with it as she gets just a bit older as her name is unusually long.

Really happy with the product. Two were purchased as gifts. They were ordered on line on a Monday night and both were received Thursday morning with no expediated delivery requested. Impressive. The puzzles were larger and heavier than expected. I was very pleased. If there is any negative it is that the back of the letters are not painted. Only the top and sides have color.

We ordered this puzzle for our almost 1 year old daughter so she can practice learning her name and get familiar with the letters in her name when she's older. I was torn between getting the bright or the pastel colored puzzles because I didn't want to get anything too "girly." We ended up going with the pastel puzzle and the colors are soft and very nice in person compared with how they looked online (which seemed a bit washed out to me.) Our daughter likes taking the puzzle pieces out and banging them together and I'm sure it will serve its purpose when she gets older to help her know the letters in her name in a fun, engaging way. Terrific puzzle.

My 2 year old really enjoyed getting this for his birthday. Its a good way for us to teach him to spell his name. The one drawback is that he gets frustrated when trying to put in the "S" since it is just slightly non symetrical.

I bought two of these - one for a friend's son and one for my daughter. They arrived quickly and in time for the birthday party. I got the boy's name in primary colors and my daughter's in pastels. It's a great size and looks wonderful. My friend loved it but I haven't heard back if her son has played with it yet. I'm waiting to give mine to my daughter in a month for her birthday. My only concern is that they both may be too young for it - turned 1 years old. Not sure if the paint is safe and will hold up after being put in the mouth - they are at that age. But I'm planning to use this as the birthday gift for all my friends and nieces turning 1 this year.

The puzzle arrived at our door faster than expected and the puzzle itself looks very nice. The letters were in great shape and fit great into the puzzle. We just gave this to our son for his birthday last night and he was carrying it around the whole house this morning. He hasn't quite figured out how to put back the pieces but he definitely enjoys pulling them out. I will be buying another one for another 1-year old's birthday party very soon.

This is a cute gift to give someone, especially if they might otherwise have a hard time finding something personalized for their name. The puzzle pieces are slightly harder to put in the spaces than you would think. Otherwise I think this is a great toy for helping kids learn how to spell their names.

The puzzle was a little larger than I was thinking, but my son does have 9 letters in his name! Very bright and colorful. My daughter has one similar to this and learned to spell her name at a young age so I am hoping this puzzle will do the same with my son.

This is a great toy, my granddaughter is only 14 months and is already putting the letters in place most of the time. As she gets older it will help her spell her name. Everyone that has seen it loves it =GREAT JOB!

Bought this for a gift, and am pleased with the quality and even more so the time in which it took to make and ship! Colors are vibrant and puzzle is lightweight, but sturdy. I just wish the description had more information regarding materials used.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew. It is accurate with the description online. Production and shipping was very fast! I was definitely impressed with that. The construction of the puzzle is nice. The wood is sanded well so that if my nephew plays with it I am not worried about him getting a splinter. My only complaint is that the back of the letters is not finished. I think it would look and feel much nicer if it was sanded and painted to match the other surfaces of the letters.

Our granddaughter is 22 months old and loved the personalized name puzzle. Her parents were also impressed with the quality. The edges of the puzzle board and the letters are smooth with no rough sides and the colors are bright. The letters are large and perfect for little hands to control.

We bought this same puzzle for my now 4-year old and he definitely grew into it as he began letter recognition. We bought it this year for our 18-month old so while it is fantastic quality, he's still not understanding that it spells his name.

I purchased this puzzle as a Christmas gift for my nephew. Its beautiful, and personalized and it was a hit!

The construction of the puzzle appears to be good. The puzzle has no markings stating where it was made or by whom. I would also like to know that the paint is non-toxic. I am not convinced this is a safe toy for a 1-year-old who naturally puts things in her mouth.

I love the look of the puzzle and my baby loves it too. Unfortunately he is only 1 and puts anything in his mouth and some of the paint has come off. As a result, we had to take it out of his toy box for now.

I like that I was able to order something unique, but I thought the pieces would have stayed in better. They lay into the spaces, but fall out easily.

This is the 5th name puzzle I have purchased for our 5th grandchild. We love the puzzles and the older grandchildren were so excited to see the newest puzzle for Myles. Myles is only 3 weeks old, so he has not played with it, but the 2, 4 & 5 year olds played with the already. Another granchild is only 6 months and all she does is take it apart. I am a retired Pre-K Teacher and wish the name was with a Capitol first letter and lower case other letters. Also the letter I should have bars across the top and bottom, not looking like a one or lower case l.
