Toy Safety Statement from JOOJOO
Current recalls on imported toys from China has raised lots of concerns among the Retailers and Consumers which is understandable, However i am very proud to announce that all JOOJOO products are examined for safety by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry at the time of production. During this examination products will be tested on the following areas:
1. Existence of dirt and/or other foreign matter
2. Existence and percentage of oil or grease
3. Existence and percentage of lead
4. Existence and percentage of arsenic
5. Existence and percentage of ammonia
6. Existence and percentage of urea
7. Plastic or metal ornaments such as eyes, nose, etc., to be of a safe design or attached to the stuffed toys in such manner as to prevent removal.
8. Stones or other hard materials for not having jagged or sharp edges.
9. flammability of filling material
10. Outer fabrics to be made out of ALL NEW MATERIAL.
All the manufacturers producing JOOJOO products are registered by the PA Department of Labor & Industry. After testing every products, this organization issues a registration number stating that the examined product meets all the safety standards and is safe for children to play with. Mentioned registration number could be found on the non removable sewing label attached to every individual product and will appear as the following example:
REG. NO. PA - 11286 (CN)
In addition to US safety standard, all JOOJOO products are examined and meet the European CE safety standard as well.
