Toy Safety Statement from K'NEX
There has been much publicity lately surrounding the recall of several consumer products, including toys, made in China. K'NEX Brands manufactures and sells building sets under the KID K'NEX(R) and K'NEX(R) brand names and Lincoln Logs(R).* We are also the exclusive distributor of BRIO(R) products in the U.S. and Canada.
You can feel confident knowing that all K'NEX bricks, rods and connectors are manufactured at our family owned factory in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, under the strictest of guidelines and using raw materials from premier quality US manufacturers. We pride ourselves in giving our consumers a highly enjoyable and safe product. During this time of heightened sensitivity to toy safety, K'NEX will make consumers aware that our parts are manufactured in the U.S.A. by adding a clearly visible label to the front of our products stating that "K'NEX Bricks, Rods and Connectors are made in the USA."
Lincoln Logs are manufactured in China by an ICTI certified factory. ICTI is the International Council of Toy Industries and more information can be found at www.toy-icti.org. Each factory is inspected, monitored and subject to periodic safety spot checks throughout the year.
In addition, all products manufactured by K'NEX Brands conform to ASTM F963-03, the American Society for Testing and Materials standard for toy safety (see www.astm.org for more information). This voluntary standard is recognized by the toy industry and governmental agencies as the defining standard for toy safety. Adherence to this standard means that building sets from K'NEX Brands do not use materials and designs that may be harmful to children.
Every component of every new product we manufacture is tested before the product is produced to make sure that the final product meets ASTM F963-03 safety standards. As a routine part of our safety assurance program, K'NEX Brands components are routinely examined by an independent, third-party laboratory to ensure that they meet U.S. safety standards.
This year K'NEX is celebrating 15 years of making quality construction toys. Given the broad spectrum of our Made in the USA products, we want to assure you that K'NEX is available to support any needs you may have.

Toy Safety Statement for BRIO Toys
BRIO has been producing quality children's toys for nearly 100 years. Over the years, BRIO has earned a reputation as a toy company whose products are manufactured to the highest standards. Within these standards, product safety is given highest priority.
In the United States, all BRIO products conform to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) toy safety standards, including heavy metal toxicology. In Canada, all products conform to Canadian Hazarous Products Act. BRIO products also meet European industry standards within EN-71 Part 3.
All BRIO products, including the BRIO wooden railway system, have been designed to meet all toy safety regulations at the time of manufacture, including heavy metals such as lead.
