Lincoln Logs Toy
It is perhaps a little-known fact that Lincoln Logs were invented by John Lloyd Wright, Frank Lloyd Wright's son. They were named for President Abraham Lincoln, and they have been inspiring children since 1917. We carry a wide range of Lincoln Log sets at Fat Brain Toys, all of which provide fun, imaginative, and inspired play.
For the nostalgic, we carry a reproduction of the original Lincoln Log tin that many of us remember from childhood. This set features richly stained real wood pieces and comes in a collectible tin container. It has 115 pieces, including 90 logs, two red roof supports, 22 green logs, and one red chimney for that final touch.
We carry more than the classic Lincoln Log sets, however. We also have some of their more "modern" offerings like the Frontier Junction set, which includes plastic figurines, a plastic ladder, and even windows! Another really fun Lincoln Log set that we carry is the Rocky River Trading Post set. This set comes with Native American figurines, a totem pole, and a plastic canoe.
The above sets are really just the beginning of the Lincoln Log lineup. We have schoolhouse sets, home sets, and even farm sets to choose from. Part of the timeless appeal of Lincoln Logs is the fact that they allow children to have fun, imaginative play that doesn't resort to electronic "bells and whistles." Lincoln Logs are timeless, and we are proud to have them as prominent members of our selection of intellect-stimulating toys for all ages.
