"This toy is Genius! My son has literally played with it for hours already, devoting 90% of our outside time to this toy so far in the week what we've had it. It works in mulch, rocky soil, riverbank mud, and of course- sandbox sand! It so far has shown no signs any breakage or weak points in the design. As for imagination value, it has let him become a construction worker, gardener, explorer, and zoologist digging for creatures. Great, Great, Great Toy! I'm going to order a couple more to send to friends and nephews in Hawaii and Flordia. I am tempted to get a second one for our house because it seemed to bring out my husband's inner child as well!"

"Everything came in the kit and was delivered right away, in a few days. the booklet inside was very helpful. everything was there you needed to start growing your plants, no distilled water. It took very little time to set up and get started and it looks nice in windowsill. I would like it if the info. on the internet would have told how long it takes to grow the venus fly trap plants. Magna Tiles are wonderful

"My four-year-old son requested the Magna tiles for his birthday; his pre-school classroom has them and he wanted to play with them at home as well. He has been building rocket ships. We ordered the 100 piece value pack and am glad we did because he uses every piece, and also has fun counting each shape and adding them all up to make sure they equal 100. My son usually plays with his trains and tracks for a good chunk of the time he is home, but since the magna tiles arrived three days ago, he has not stopped playing with them. This is the longest time he has gone without pulling out his train sets. "

"The tunnel is well made and easily stores almost flat. The see-through is great for little ones who may be afraid of a closed in tunnel. My twins are 16 months and love crawling through it and chasing one another. It is long - longer than I thought, so we don't use it as much as we may if it was a bit shorter. (I probably should have read the dimensions...) Overall, it's a fun activity to open up a few times a week for a change of pace!"

"Love this toy! My 8 yr old son bought this toy with his allowance and was upset that his siblings loved it so much, and wanted to play with it more than he really wanted to share. My children (8 boy, 5 boy and 8mths girl) sit in the floor and roll it around to each other and occasionally pause to see who can put it together the fastest. My 8 yr old had it figured out in 10 mins while it is still a bit of a struggle for my 5 yr old. I have no complaints about this toy. The pieces are a safe size for my little one to play with and the bright colors make it fun for all ages. "

"This toy has a very good fundamental point to start with - to prepare girls for the interests in engineering and problem solving. I have a 6-year old daughter. She likes new things and is very curious about new devices, and equipments, etc. She likes lego as well as barbie dolls and other girlish stuff. This toy makes engineering a non-gender biased area so that girls will be able to learn engineering in a non-gender preference way.
Engineering is no longer top choices for students in many OECD countries. Hence, learning engineering in a non-gender biased way or encouraging more female to take up engineering is very important."

Absolutely Amazing- Spirograph!

"The new Spirograph stays true to the original toy w/ some improvements. I collect Spirographs and have main vintange ones. The gear holes are a little bigger. You can use Cryaola Super Tip markers in the gears. This does get ink on the gears, but it comes right off w/ windex and a paper towel. You can use the Crayola Twistable colored pencils in the gears. This enhances fun because you can make your designs so much more colorful. Also, gel pens that are 1.0 mm or smaller will work in the gears. I bought 2 of these Spirographs. One is to play with, and the other is to keep new. I love the thing so much I wanted to make sure that I always had one- so bought 2. The ONLY drawback of this new design is that the Spiroputty that comes w/ it is very small. It should come w/ a larger lump of it. However, I just bought some extra putty for $3. This toy won't disappoint children or adults. I like the tray that you can work right in. In my opinion, it's nearly child abuse not to buy any child in your life one of these : ). Plus, if you have friends who like to color or make mandalas, they will LOVE the Spirograph. Other toys that are similar or remakes don't measure up. I've got all of them. NONE of the newer ones are any good. You want this toy or a vintage Spirograph. : )"

"Our child's day care/preschool has Magna-Tiles in all of their classrooms for ages 1.5 to 5 years, and these are among the favorite toys for children across the entire age range (and beyond; adults love them, too). It has been fascinating to watch how the children play with them differently at each age-- starting from simply stacking up the squares and building tall towers at age 1.5 to creating little houses at age 3 to designing elaborate cities and multi-level structures at age 5. Not all of the children love playing with Magna-Tiles, but I would estimate that >90% do, and those that do play with them for hours nearly every day."

"I bought the Tutu Cute for my niece for her fourth birthday. She loved the outcome of the tutu, but wasn't 100% interested in helping assemble it. I did most of the assembling and thought it was very easy to put together. I ended up with a very cute blue, pink, and purple tutu, with four "flowers" around the waistband. I would recommend this product, but as the box states, it may be more suitable for age 5+ due to the assembling process. "

"Got this product for home therapy for my daughter with poor muscle coordination & autism. She is very small for her age of 5- 40 pounds & 40in tall and this does well for her. We use it, per our OT's direction at home with my daughter laying on her belly and propelling herself forwards & backwards building muscle core strength & arm strength. Some of these have padding, but it hasn't seemed necessary. She does not fight me to do therapy with this. The price is OUTSTANDING! THANK YOU! Rolls EASILY, therefore I am very happy it has handles to help my child pick it up to put it away since it could just about kill someone stepping on it mistakenly! Seems plenty sturdy enough for her weight andthe delivery was very speedy! "

"Matthew (family friend's son) was the recipient of the books/games. He was held back a year and will start kindergarten in the fall. My goal in buying the products was for them to be educational and fun. The fingerprint product where he can draw zoo animals will be fun and his mom is looking forward to using it. The Highlight books will be good for him to learn how to complete a puzzle in one sitting. The Rush Hour Jr game will be a good game for him to do while sitting in the car when his parents are driving places."

"We bought this toy to use with our 7 month old when we are testing his auditory awareness (he is hearing impaired). It is a great visual reinforcement toy and because of the response we get while using it, we gave one to his auditory therapist so that she can use it with other children and they can be mesmerized by it as well. "My 11 yr old son thinks this is fabulous toy !! He wanted to take this to school as a "Show and Tell" speech presentation. He put it together as soon as we got home and didn't lay it down till he got to bed. He has played with it everyday after school . His speech presentation was on how to make robots. He has taken it to school everyday since and the other school children enjoy it. He was disappointed when he lost a small red x6 piece. I wish extra pieces were included. My only concern is if he loses another of these small pieces, how do i purchase more without having to buy a whole new toy? My son wants a Chemistry set next from Brain Toys. Thank you. "

A good toy to illustrate manual dexterity as well as flight

"The gliders are pretty well made, however in trying to make an adjustment, I broke the nose off the toy... I must admit that I did not read the instructions before attempting to adjust the flight path, but if I had, this probably would not have hapened... It is important to understand how the toy operates and the instructions need to be explained to a child by an adult. It took a little time to get it to work properly but after that, it is a lot of fun !!!"
