The idea of coloring your own umbrella is awesome, if only the product was too. Each time my daughter has taken it out in the rain (twice) the colors came back more and more bled. The only thing I can think of, which I haven't had a chance to try, is to let it dry open instead of instantly closing it when she comes in. By the looks of the bleeding it seems that's when the color transfer happens, not while she's in the rain. The issue with that is we want her to be able to take it to school and they're not going to allow her to set it up open to dry while she's there. So I imagine it will just get worse every time.
