My 9 year old daughter loved the jiggly jewels she received for christmas.. She is excited to do the experiments and even wrote notes on her observations.

Strangest thigs

I bought these for a Magic in Science class camp for 3 - 6 year olds. We soaked these over night and where all amazed with "balls" and squares that appeared the next day. Some were so clear you could not see them in the cup. The balls bounced, the jewels went splat and broke. Some kids smooched them. Parents were impressed and asked where I got them. Should I give up my teacher's secret???

Facinating & fun!

It takes a while for the jewels to grow to a size that is fun to handle, so next time I'd probably put them in a bowl of water the night before, but once they get to marble size they are really fun to play with. Everyone in the family had fun with them, and it's amazing how they keep growing. After you're done they will dry out over a few days & be ready to use again.
