My 5-year old recevied this toy one week ago and still spends at least an hour a day playing with it. There are endless combinations of animals to be made, so it is a great way for him to express his creativity. He had a friend over last week who played along with him for an hour too. The only hesitation would be if you have younger children in the house, as there are some tiny pieces that come off and can easily fall on the floor without much notice as you're doing the initial setup.

Cute 3D puzzles

Very cute. The listed age range is 4-9 yo, but for children aged ~4-7 yo this will require signficant parental input.

My grandson enjoys crafts and also assembling things like Lincoln Logs, Legos, etc. This was a nice change of pace. It had picture directions for making the shown models of marine life as well as the opportunity to design his own creatures.
