For my two sons (5 and 2.5), the dinosaur theme ALWAYS gets their attention! In this regard, it does just that. Somewhat confusing instructions on what needs to be done to make it to the 21st century (at the tail end) but it's not too difficult to make up your own rules. Still hasn't captivated the younger or older ones attention compared to games like Snakes and Ladders, Sequence or Sorry but is still good for a game or two.

Great game with lots to do. My 6 year old grandson loves it. We have played it several times. He loves dinosaurs.
