Very Cool

Rating:

My 5 year old son built and excellent bridge. I like the product because he enjoys it, but I find the pieces a bit difficult for my fingers. Once you get the stub in, it is hard to get out. It is also a bit wobbly. But I like it, my son thinks it is excellent. I would definitely buy it for any building-oriented child.

Overall, it was good but the quality control on the products was poor. Several pieces would not fit together well, resulting in us having to switch out pieces to make it work.

Just Like I Remember

Setting: Home

My brother and I grew up playing with my dad's old kenners. When my brother opened up the box, it was exactly like we remembered. One really fun part is seeing what kind of crazy structure you can build and have it still stand. If these are anything like the kenners I grew up with then these should last for years.

Great toy, but not perfect
Posted 12/18/2009 by Lisa Stolzberg

Rating:

I think the girder and panel set is best child's toy for building realistic looking structures. The bridge designs do have some stability issues. The road panels seem to be just a little too wide and press outward on the tie braces, which occassionally causes them to pop off, which in turn may cause part of the bridge to collapse. Still, the finished bridges do look spectacular and children can build them with minimal adult assistance. My 10 year old son loves it!
