This Megazooka is a lot of fun. It's got a nice punch and doesn't really hurt anything. It's fun to have shoot outs with. Not too tough to put together, but a little tricky.

Just as much fun as advertised. Provoked a lot of experimentation as to what can be launched from it as well as how far the air blast travels and what it can do when it arrives.
Great fun! Easy to comprehend educational tool, too!

My 5th grader had a science project in which he had to demonstrate and explain the principles behind air flight. We were able to use the megazooka in the class room to demostrate how high and low pressure air moves. It was a big hit with his class (his teacher flipped, too!), with this and another demonstration using a blowdryer and ping-pong ball, he was able to get an A+! It is easy to put together, and a suprisingly accurate shot, too. My kids are really enjoying this! The one problem has been with the size, it is truly "mega" and a bit tough for little ones to handle. I wish this was mentioned in the listing.

The product is fun. It was a little difficult putting together but after that it has been more than entertaining. I have used the normal airzooka and I really like the trigger feature on the megazooka a lot.

I gave this to my son for his 11th birthday. It was the hit of the party. All the boys had a blast (no pun intended) playing with it. I do have to say that it was a bit tricky to put together, but once we got it, it was great fun.

This is an great "attention getter" when talking in front of large groups of youth or adults. Although it "shoots" air, it has been a very safe activity for me to use. It can be enjoyed by people as young as 4 and as old as 94.
Megazooka - Fun But A Bit Of A Challenge To Assemble.

We've had a lot of fun with them since we put them together. Leave more than five minutes to assemble, though. The directions are a bit sketchy, and the units are a bit hard to get to align and snap in place. The different sections telescope together, and while I was assembling them, some of the previous sections that appeared secure would fail while working on one of the next sections. It takes a lot more pressure than anticipated to get the sections to seat properly; however, once in place let the battle begin!

Fun toy, especially if you have two boys, (10 and 11). They have played with them daily since they received them, which is high praise for a non-electronic toy. Assembly of product was relatively simple, although snapping the unit into full extension was a bit of a challenge.

I purchased two of these for my boys. They were the hit of the day! They had fun blowing gift wrap, and making their hair "poof." They blasted me all the way across a room. I love that there are no batteries, no darts or other projectiles that I have to endlessly pick up or that get lost. It's a great toy. I highly recommend it!

Our son loves it. The handles were a bit difficult to line up and get attached to the body. Now that it's assembled, it's being well used.

This was a gift to my daughter and she loved it. All the kids went crazy with this toy, but the quality of it is not that good. When they were playing it slipped from the hands of the kid and the upper parts used to aim and the locks in the front of the toy that hold the different sections were broken. Poor quality.

We bought these Megazookas for our four year old twin boys. When we received them, they were enormous, needed assembling, and the picture on the front showed an adult holding the gun. They seemed a bit more advanced then we had hoped and we returned them for a later date. I will look into these as my boys get older.

The Megazooka is not any better or more powerful than the standard Airzooka. I wish it were. The cocking feature is very nice. The assembly instructions were somewhat confusing. A couple of better illustrations would have helped. The sight tube helped with aiming but it didn't attach very well and since it is tempting to use as a carrying handle it comes off far too easily. The front part of mine was so poorly constructed or defective it broke the first time it was moved into firing position but the device works better without it anyway since the "clear" plastic distorts the target. You might try some little crosshairs in a better tube (sight). P.S. The regular Airzooka deserves 5 Stars.

The Megazooka is great. It was easy to assemble and easy to use. I am a pastor, and I am always on the lookout for unique youth group/children's ministry items. I will use the Megazooka in church with the children to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit. Who knows what else we will use it for in the days to come.

Talks a big game, but when it comes to delivery, I gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I used to have a regular airzooka which was even more powerful than this one. Maybe bigger isn't better.

When I received the product, I thought it was going to be the greatest toy. Well, I tried putting it together by following the instructions, but the snaps within broke. I was able to put it together and use it, but the air that blew out did not hit its intended target. I am very disappointed in the product.

Excellent for a 10 year old boy! Concern about assembly difficulties written in other reviews left me wondering if I was in for a lot of work, but when the Megazooka arrived it went together in 5 minutes. This toy is great fun for everyone! The only downside was we only had one in a houseful of kids! It sent the cats leaping for the door and made quick work of the stack of papers by the computer printer!

The Megazooka and its little brother the Airzooka are both great toys. I own both and if I were forced to choose, the Airzooka is the better choice. Smaller, lighter and easier to fire especially for children. The Megazooka's firing mechanism is perfectly simplistic but adds a significant amount of weight to the toy. It is about the size of an office trash can, a little too big to be running around with - a six year old would never be able to use it. So, save yourself a few bucks and buy the Airzooka. Unless of course, you need to "one up" all the other 8 year olds on the block...the Megazooka is great too.

I own two Airzookas already for my boys and saw this one and thought it would be the daddy of Zookas. Honestly....we all believe the Airzookas have more power to them than the Megazooka. (It's cool you can pull the air back and lock it in and hold it for a trigger release....but the power of it isn't all that.

My son loves the Megazooka. It is very easy to operate and it is amazing how far the ball of air travels. His science teacher uses one in class to entertain the kids. However, it is difficult to assemble so you will need to help your child.

This is a wonderful toy that uses some principles of science that kids may not be familiar with. Plus as an added bonus, my grandson enjoyed shooting at things and blowing them down....What fun!

Very well received by the 12 year old. Assembly seems difficult at first, but as long as you don't get too worked up, and actually read the instructions, it goes together pretty easily. Toy is not quiet, and can be annoying after a bit, and there is an urge by the 12 year old to add to the experience by using toy to lauch other projectiles. It is a far superior toy to the original Airzooka, with the addition of the trigger mechanism. It is a very large toy and takes up quite a bit of space once assembled.

The Megazooka is definitely a fun toy, but we had a lot of trouble assembling it. It took all three of us (mom, dad, and 13 year old son) to struggle with it. There as a broken spot that didn't interfere with function but is disappointing on a new toy, and there were manufacturing errors that caused the holes to not line up, so even after all our best attempts, we had to leave one part (the aiming sight) not fully attached. And by the way, the sight doesn't match where the air blast goes, so it's not really useful anyway, but it does look cool. We are an engineering family with lots of building experience, and it took all of our ingenuity to overcome the misalignment in the parts. I would not recommend this toy to others only because of the assembly problems. Otherwise, it's a good fun toy.

This toy exercised the patience and ingenuity of the assemblers. One was 11, two were adult. One toy broke a little in the assembly. However, they were loads of fun once assembled. Dogs and cats definitely don't like them. Luckily they are not small and the dogs have good chance to get clear before people start playing with them. They are a hit with teenagers but are a bit much for children smaller than 8 yrs old.
The toys are BIG - about 8 inches in diameter on the output end.

This is a horrible thing. I don't know what all the hype was about. It blows a little shot of air. Do yourself a favor and just go buy a fan from Wal Mart and save yourself a few bucks. My nephew hated it and we ended up giving it to our neighbors that have a 5 year old son and he could not work it after the second shot of air his father shot at him the little boy lost interest and walked off. It was just a big marketing ploy. WORST TOY EVER!!

Unimpressed. I was hoping for a huge upgrade from Airzooka...didn't do it. It basically is more plastic with a trigger. Airzooka is more accurate, more fun, I believe it shoots better, I gave my airzooka away to a poor kid, and then found Megazooka and bought it. I would trade Megazooka for Airzooka in a heartbeat.

I was very disappointed. Having recently used a regular zooka, I assumed that the mega would be even more fun. Sad to say, the air power is far less than the regular model and while not concerned about the price, I feel it was not represented properly.

The Megazooka was fairly easy to set up, but you do need to read the directions carefully to insure the barrels are aligned properly. It's a simple toy, but has some interesting science behind it. You need to be no further than fifteen feet from your target for an effective blast.

This gun is awesome as long as you can get it put together right. If it gets put together right it's perfect! It has a great way of aiming and the trigger is awesome but if you like the airzooka way of shooting (pull back, hold, aim, and release) you can do that too because you can take the back panel off. So this is definitely worth getting. Just get it put together right.
