This is rather fascinating to read! To see the hand drawn sketches, read the first hand reports and the editorials. It's better than a history book!

My rating of Civil War Paper

Rating:

An excellent selection of reproduction Civil War era newspaper and magazine front pages. The larger than original format works great in the classroom and makes for easy reading. Original publications from the period while available are expensive and delicate to handle. This compilation allows students to get a "feel" for the real thing without fear of handling mishap's or a large expenditure of money.
