Review for Skip Rope Tin

I bought this toy for a 4 year old and she absolutely loves it. Her great-aunt pulled out the little booklet and got all teary-eyed at all of the skipping songs and rhymes that were in that book. Needless to say, it was a hit with the whole family. Now instead of sitting in front of the T.V. all day, she skips and sings for a good portion of it. I recommend it to anybody who wants a fun way to get kids to be more active

We purchased this as prop for a play that takes place in the 1950s. Several audience members have asked where we got it since they recognize it from their childhood!

I ordered this product for my 6 year old daughter. I loved the packaging and the idea of getting book with old chants in it. When my daughter opened it, she was so excited, and pretty much played with it all day. Definitely her favorite present. The problem is that there was not booklet with it. The jump rope was the only thing in the tin! Being that my daughter didn't notice and that it was her favorite present, I was not about to send it back. But I am disappointed with what would have otherwise been a 10.

Having been kids ourselves, the fun in belting out the jump rope songs simply cannot be skipped. A replacement was promptly shipped to our customer.

This product is a little too advanced for my 6 year old with delayed gross motor abilities. But he loves the tin. It seems to be of great quality that will last until he is ready to use it.
