The second time they swung the bat at the ball the bat broke at the bottom of the handle. I believe this is a manufacturer defect. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Here's hoping the next swing is a homerun! We contacted the manufacturer for our customer. A replacement bat is being shipped promptly.)

The bat is a good density for this type of use. Not too firm and not too spongy. The ball throws good curves but doesn't hit very far off the bat. The color is stylish. Popular with the boys!
