Life-Like Coins

I purchased these coins to use on a responsibility chart. The magnetic coins were used to assign values to jobs. The magnetic coins are equal in size to real coins, and they are realistic in appearance which helps teach the value of coins. The challenge with using these coins is that they are printed on magnetic sheets that are so thin it's hard for little fingers to peel the magnets off a magnetic board. Also, they are a little hard to punch out of the magnetic sheets they are printed on, but if you push your finger on the printed side of the magnet you can get the coins punched out. If you try to punch them out from the back of the magnet, you can tear the printed side.

We love them. We purchased the coins along with the cash magnets to assist our daughter who has Down Syndrome learn about money. Being magnetic is wonderful because they can be used on a vertical surface which is something we look for in a product. They are the same size as real coins and show both the front and back of each coin which is not typical when you are looking for play money.

Great Value

This product exceeds my expectations. Very durable and a good value. The dollar bills have a mint green color and don't look as realistic as the coins. Wished to write up would have given the denominations and how many you were getting in the pack. I probably would have order more sets. My kids will love using these in the classroom.

Information about Magnet Coins

Coins were correct sizes and both sides of coins were printed which is very helpful in teaching primary students the value and names of coins. Coins will be used next school year and I'm very much looking forward to using them.

Magnet Coins

The magnet coins look real. I ordered them for two purposes. 1. To hold papers on a metal board in an office setting. These coins will only hold up one sheet of paper. (The quarters work best, being larger. The coins are thin and are hard to remove from the board.) 2. The Banks sponsor schools in our area and some of the magnetic coin set will be given to school children as a prize or reward.

We're using the magnetic coins for a budgeting exercise with adult learners. The coins look great and work well on a magnetic dry erase board.

I thought by purchasing Magnetic Coins, I was literally buying metal coins that were magnetic. I had no idea I was buying rubber magnets. I am a part-time magician and needed to replace a magnetic coin I had misplaced. I was very disappointed in the rubber template of coins that are not really coins...just painted circles. I suggest this product be renamed for what it is...Rubber Magnetic Coins.
Please note that the product description states that the coins are made of rubber. Kudos to the manufacturer -they truly look like the real thing! We contacted our customer with the option of return. Please visit the Returns & Exchanges center for details.

Worked for me

I bought this for my Kindergarten class to teach coins and their values and it has worked perfectly. It is terrific that the coins are the correct size and that they show both the front and the back of each coin. Some coin sets look so fake but this one is pretty realistic!

I recently purchased the magnetic coins to use in my first grade classroom. My students absolutely love using them on the chalkboard. They are always very excited to have the opportunity to use them and the coins make learning fun.
