The dart board is approximately 11 1/2 inches in diameter thereby presenting a small target. This game can be fun for all ages providing one is not serious about accuracy. Although the magnetic darts will usually attach to the board, we found two problems that can lead to frustration. The darts have a tendency to slide down the board rather than attaching to the initial point of contact. In addition, the darts frequently lay over on the board instead of sticking straight out. These two problems can be somewhat overcome by standing very close to the board when throwing the darts. Scoring will will require a pad & pencil and some basic math skills that may be beyond the advertised age 8. Since we have played with the game for only a few weeks, durability of the magnetic darts has yet to be determined.

The board itself was warped and circular paper looked water damaged. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Far from the target quality we would expect as well. We requested a replacement from the manufacturer, Dowling Magnets, for our customer.)

This product is excellent. My children play with it for hours. The magnetic capability is very good allowing the darts to stick when they hit the board.

This is for a 10 year old who loves baseball and has a lot of little sisters so this is perfect. No one can get hurt and he can have a game of baseball. He loves these toys.
