Lots Of Fun For My Kids

All three of my kids (4, 7, 8) have really enjoyed the Magnetic dartboard. It's nice to let them loose on a dartboard and not worry about sharp points. Storage of the darts is easy because they stick together at their magnetic points.

I picked this dart board for a 4 year old because the scoring was easy to understand with concentric rings increasing in points as they get closer to the center. I took off one rating point because the surface is kind of slippery and the darts will sometimes slide down, but the magnets are strong and really do stick. It's fun, safe, and all but the youngest children can play.

Darts Must Hit Board At 90° Angle

I have found that the darts do certainly have strong magnets, and if you want a dart board and darts without any sharp points then this is probably a good alternative. However, you will have to learn to throw. In order for the darts to stay on the board (and not bounce off) they have to hit the board at a 90° angle. If the darts are even a little diagonal [if you throw them in an arch through the air, for example] then they will certainly bounce off. Because of this I do not recommend this dart board.

Kind of pricey for a small magnetic dartboard. I also don't like the scoring system used and it is stiff.

The Good: It comes in a nice and easy to open transparent package. The package can be used again and again. The darts do have exceptionally powerful magnets. If you throw the dart at right angles it will definitely stick to the board with a nice clicking sound. The Bad: One has to throw the dart pretty flat, if it hits the board at an angle it will often not stick to the board and fall down. But after a little practice you would get used to it. The kids might take a little more time to adjust. And you would normally need to put the board at eye level otherwise it is very difficult to throw it flat. The Ugly: The surface of the board gets very very easily scratched. It has no scratch resistance whatsoever. Even a simple touch would scratch the surface. I applied transparent tape all over the board to prevent scratches.

I purchased this magnetic dart board for our youth group to play on youth night at my small church. They love it! We have a group of about 20, this is youth and adults that interact together and it's hard to find safe games that different ages can enjoy together.

The magnetic dart board was used at my girl's winter carnival at school. It was a huge hit! It was so easy to use, and used by all age groups. We will use it again for next year's carnival!

I bought the dart board for my young nephew who loves to play darts. It is safe and very easy to hang up. The darts are very magnetic and work well. I love the overall appearance and its sturdiness.

I am using this toy to teach some principles of the Six Sigma methodology. I needed a fun way to teach people how to deal with numerical data in a team based setting. I was delighted to find this dart board with the concentric rings of numerical scores. Now my team exercises are both educational and fun.

Product was fun for a while but the fins on the darts broke "very" quickly so the toy is now of no use. It's too bad because if the fins were more replaceable or could bend without breaking it would have been a good toy. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We contacted Mr. Wallace and offered to send him replacement darts. He'll be hitting the bulls-eye again soon!)

The Dart game was a gift for a 12 year old and he liked it. The only problem I had was that you didn't carry extra darts. His Mom said the darts get lost pretty quickly so it would have been nice to have given him some extra darts. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Ms. Standish, We appreciate your input. Thanks to you...never again will customers wonder where to find replacement darts.)

While my son is thrilled, the product is a little less substantial than I was anticipating. The material is a little flimsy.

I ordered another Magnetic Dart Board as a gift for my nephew, who is turning 8. My own three kids have used ours for a year and still go back to it. It has held up well. The construction is even tough enough that the hanging tab shows no sign of weakness. The dart magnets are very strong. The darts themselves are light weight and fly well. We still use all six darts even though one or two have a fin broken off due to being stepped on. (Our flight zone is a long hallway -- a very high traffic area!) Since the darts "stick" together, we usually know where they all are!

The customer service you provide is EXCELLENT to say the least. I am a consumer who really appreciates that. However, the dart board itself was not what I was hoping for...it seemed small to me and just disappointing, maybe I am being unrealistic. I might discover that it is the best one available on the market. I would absolutely shop at this website again, you have been great!

Bought this Magnet dart board for my husband and his grandson to play with when he visits on Monday. His father has a regular dart board and he enjoys playing with it, but I am afaid the little one will get hurt. I have been looking for one and could not find one anywhere. Thanks to your company they will enjoy darts for a long time-he is only 2 years old. Thanks again!

Quality item at a good price
We use it as an activity in an outreach ministry for kids. Its safe, especially with a lot of kids around and the wide variety of ages. They love it.

This has been a great toy for the whole family. My five year old and I especially enjoy playing together, and even my little two year old has fun pulling the darts off the board and dropping them back down. Highly recommended.
