I am a Pre-k teacher in an area where it's too warm to snow. I used this product in my water table during out weather unit to let the students see what snow looks like, and to experience playing with it. They loved it! It even fooled the Assistant Principal. She couldn't figure out how I had gotten snow into the table without it melting. The kids enjoyed using it to make snowmen, and to pretend to shovel it and make snowballs. A great learning tool for students! I will definitely be purchasing more next year!

Innovative. Keeps attention for hours. High Quality. Encourages thinking and dexterity. This type of toy will surely spark mechanical and artistic interests in children. Craftsmanship is a fading art.

We purchased this as a summer activity. We included this in our weather unit with the kids. The kids were excited about playing with snow. It doesn't feel like snow, but they enjoyed it anyway. I was unsure how much to mix and started at the smallest increment and worked my way up. The 8 oz of water worked well for small kitchen bowls and children stirring. I started the stirring and handed it to them to finish once a certain level of "slush" was formed. My children would not have patience for the entire length of stirring (older children might). They played for a long while with it and we saved most of it in a ziplock bag for later (with nearly a full container of the mix still available for use). A note to the parents: place a plastic table cloth on the table and a drop cloth or newspapers on your floor prior to play. This stuff takes forever to clean up and a little prep goes a long way to making your experience as fun as theirs. We definitely will use this again! The tactile sensation was awesome for a preschooler and our autistic son. It's fun and educational value are definitely worth the small price we paid for the product.
