My children, two age 12 and one age 7 love this game. We have had it for several years and play it as a family, and the kids play it with friends. It is recommended for ages 10 and up, but my 7 year old loves to play because it is not necessarily about the difficulty of the questions, but about how fast the answer gets from your brain to your mouth! Quite often the 7 year old will blurt out the answer much faster than the older players. When we asked a friend's mother what he might like for his birthday, his mom said he loves playing Blurt when he is hanging out at our house. So, I just ordered another for his birthday.

This is a great game for all ages. It can be played by several people or in many groups. Great practice of vocabulary with a wide variety of words that must be guessed.

Setting: Homeschool

This game is really fun! I have three children ages 7, 10 and 12 and we love playing this. Two of my children have language problems so this is great for word-finding and increasing speed of recall. This is a game that works your brain while you have fun. I would recommend this to others.

Educational Play

I teach fifth grade and we played this game in my classroom and the kids loved it! It kept their attention for an entire class period. The actual game board and materials are very sturdy so I know that they will hold up for lots of play. The multiple levels of play make the game appropriate for my younger son as well.

I used it with my second grade students and they loved it. I used it to build vocabulary and strengthen synonyms and antonym skills.
