The idea seems great, but the construction of the GeoSafari SeaScope was disappointing. The telescope barely improved visibility for anything nearby and showed nothing at a distance. The telescope also would not nestle into the underwater viewing scope well - we had to wrestle it into the neck and then hold on tight. It didn't really go in and certainly wouldn't stay. It wobbled so much that viewing was impossible. We didn't even bother actually trying it underwater, so I can't tell you if the underwater flashlight worked.
Our customer returned the defective Seascope for a full refund.)
