I'm really impressed with this product. It's a great teaching tool to get my son ready for preschool. It does keep him occupied for a while.

My rating of Hot Dots Jr. Getting Ready for School Set

As a teacher, I was really excited to find and use this product. My son LOVES the dog pen as it makes its noises. This product is VERY much all about academics....but that's what is great about it! The only two downfalls that I have found with this product is that sometimes the dog pen makes a 'wrong' sound when it should actually be right. You have to make sure that you are holding the pen a certain way and are smack dab on the dot. The other being the fact that my son already knew most of what the activity cards were teaching, so it didn't take him long to get through them. The ages say 3-6 but my son knew most of these before he turned 3. But I looked at it as a good review and a confidence booster in his cognitive ability. I would definitely recommend the Hot Dots (but maybe at an earlier age)....children don't even realize they are learning!

Hot Dots Kit

My daughter loves playing with her new hot dots kit. Her face lights up when she gets the answer correct. She is determined to find the correct answer if she answered incorrect the first time. This has strengthen her knowledge of letters, numbers, shapes, & colors in a fun, independent way. Thanks Hot Dots!
