I am very disappointed with the Hot Dot products. When I tried the Talking Pen on the Reading Readiness Flash Cards, I had to touch the pen to the lower case letter that matched the upper case letter several times before it told me I had the correct letter. Sometimes it would not indicate that my answer was correct at all. If a child cannot receive reliable feedback using such a device, no learning can occur. I would like to return these products. This is a good product. My 5 year old son really likes doing this & it is something he is able to do during quiet time.

It is a very good product. It offers another way of guiding children through reading. It is a big help for parents and fun for the children. Anything that you can use in helping children learn in a fun and creative way…you know it will have a positive impact with them.
This product offers that and I would recommend it to every parent and teachers.

My grandson loves these. My only complaint is that I feel the end of the pen isn't going to hold up very long.

My youngest son enjoys these very much, we also have the money cards and he likes the independance of right/wrong being his hands......likes to share the fun sounds of the pen with others. fun alternative to comp.games or standard written work/review

Simply stated, we love this product! My son actually want's to play with these flash cards, and I don't wan't to pull my hair out while helping him anymore. We both enjoy doing these flash cards together. They are fun, and the Hot Dots pen offers encouraging words, and gentle let downs for wrong answers. Most importantly, my son doesn't become frustrated anymore, and neither do I. Awesome!!
Fun And Educational For Pre-Readers

My 5-year-old is just starting to learn to read, and these have been helpful in getting him motivated. He likes to play with them, so I use them as an incentive. They're very well made, and I've had no problems at all with the sets (we bought the first three). We'll definitely buy the other reading sets and probably the math ones, too.

I am a teacher and found this to be an amazing independent activity for young students. My students love to use the flash cards with the pen. The pen allows for instant feedback. I really enjoy this product.

My godson likes these flash cards a lot. I think it would be more fun with the hot dots wand, but he likes it enough without.
