I bought this as a gift for my 6 year old daughter. She saw a magic show at school and was instantly hooked on magic, performing "tricks" at home to amaze her family. I wanted a quality magic kit suitable for her young age, and this fit the bill. I especially like that it was put together with input from real magicians.

My six-year-old son loves this kit. He's had it for about two weeks now, and he plays with it every day. There are so many different tricks, he hasn't even had a chance to do them all yet. Most of the props are easy for his little hands to manage, and the techniques are easy to learn with a little practice. He made quite the impression when he performed for our friends at a recent dinner party. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

Our grandniece loves magic. And although the product didn't give her the
real magic skill she wanted -- the ability to fly -- she was happy with the magic show.

My daughter has been fascinated with magic tricks after watching her grandfather tease her with amature magic shows for the past year. Now she can put on shows for him!

Not as easy as it sounds

My 4 and 7 year old were extremely excited about this toy. I thought my 7 year old would be able to read and figure out the directions for the tricks on her own. But even I had a little trouble understanding some of them. The pictures are not all that helpful. Once I explain the tricks to them, they are very excited about doing the tricks and showing off to relatives.

The booklet that came with the tricks is helpful. I like the ratings of the tricks from the easiest to the most difficult. The directions for the tricks are easy to read. My grandson, just turning 6, of course, needed me to explain the tricks to him. Not a problem. He was able to do them, afterwards.

My grandson was very excited with his Magic Set, but told me the next day that the magic wand did not work.. NOTHING DISAPPEARED!
