Good Learning Clock

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old daughter who has started noticing the time and looking at the clocks at home and in school. She enjoyed this clock right out of the box and set it to a familiar time. She enjoys flipping over the numbers but will take some time to grasp the concept of minutes. Only dissapointment with this toy are the plastic covers over the numbers which wasn't evident from the picture.

My daughter is only 3, but since she has sparked an interest in the time, we thought we would try this clock out. Not that she is telling time, but it has great features, easy for little hands to maneuver and entertains. I can tell that this will be an asset when she is at the age to actually grasp time telling.

This clock is not typical in that each number changes to the minute equivalent when the big hand passes over it. It's kind of fun, because it moves a lot and kids like that. I have not decided yet if it's confusing or helpful. I can say my kids (4 and 3) like it and it seems like part toy and part clock, so it was worth the money. Not sure if we are going to get to the next level of knowing how to tell time, however.

This is a wonderful product, exactly what I was looking for to help our son with telling time on an analog clock. The changing of the minutes to the 5-minute increment as it rolls over is unique to this clock and I think will really help him *get* time telling.

I am very happy with this clock. My daughter is having a lot of trouble understanding hours and minutes. She likes the clock and it helps her understand the concept of time. I think she will learn faster with this toy.

I do like the product, I think it is a great way to teach kids how to tell time. I actually bought this toy for my disabled niece. I do wish that there was a button you could push on top of the knob you turn so it would be easier for kids with disabilities to use. There are very few toys for kids with cp who can push buttons but not turn knobs very easily.

I had a similar toy clock 50 years ago, so when my son got obsessed with telling time this was the way to go. Simple, sturdy, effective. This is a great way to teach a child how to read an analog clock.

I ordered this for my 5 year old to help him learn to tell time. Overall, it is great for that. When the minute hand turns to the digits 1-12 around the clock, they count by 5's as we do to tell time. I'm not sure he completely understands, but we are working on it with him.

This clock is really cute, and it does a good job of showing how to tell time. My kids love playing with the clock and moving the minute hand all around the clock. This will definitely be helpful in teaching my kids how to tell time.

Simple design and so smart! Teaches a child how to read time in the simplest way possible. As the minute hand moves the hour marking flips to the minute marking - i.e. 1 hour becomes 5 mins, 2 hour becomes 10 minutes and so on. A Must Buy for the kid who is enthusiastic to learn time.

This has been a great investment. Our daughter is having trouble learning to tell time. It has helped us explain how it goes to the next hour and what time it is when it is almost at the top of the hour.
