My grandson will be 2 in a few weeks. He has a little bit of trouble taking the nailsscrews out of the boards (they fit pretty tight) but he doesn't get frustrated just keeps at it until he gets them. This problem may lessen as he uses it - hopefully the holes will expand a bit with use. He loves it - just the right size and challenge for him although he is younger than the listed age. He doesn't put toys in his mouth so the small partschoking thing isn't a worry plus the screws and nails are awfully big for someone to be able to swallow...

My 2 year old son loves this toy. He doesn't play at the bench much, but loves to take the tools along to help his father fix things around the house.
