Great for both our kids

Great as a crawling mat for our 6 month old as well as a play mat for our 18 month old. With the solid blue side up it pads the floor for our newly crawling baby's tender knees without being overstimulating. With the pictures up, our 18 month old is starting to learn pretend play as we show him how to drive his cars along the roads. It will also make a great puzzle for him to put together. This toy will get loads of use in our house for years to come.

Fosters Imaginative Play

This toy felt a bit like a splurge, since I consider it expensive, hence the 4 star rating. However, the obvious quality is that you can mix and match the 9 pieces, so you'll built a different mat each time! The product is visually appealing, since it has a lot of detail in the pictures and vivid colors. It is easy to store in a plastic zippered bag. My 6 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old sons are playing with it quite often, they combine it with a wooden tracks train set.

Lots of fun for toddlers

We purchased the Adventure Road Mat with Sound for our two-year-old son, and he loves it. The sounds make him laugh, and he loves rolling his cars and trucks all around the mat. He plays independently for long periods of time (I think 30 minutes is long for a 2 year old!). He can't reconfigure the mat on his own yet, but it's something he can grow in to!

This road mat is great for my young sons to play on. It's wonderful they can piece it together in the form they want. It is very durable and easy to store.

My son loves the toy and is having a lot of fun with it. I would have given it the highest rating but it was missing 1 panel out of the 9. I only received 8. I contacted you who is contacting the company and hopefully I will be receiving the missing panel soon.

One of the sound discs on the airport tile just keeps going...won't turn off. 3 of the discs on the second set are dead. I did call in yesterday and you are sending me 4 new tiles. I'm very impressed with your customer service. My Grandson loves the car mats!

Very Enjoyable Road Mat

My 2 1/2 year old son very much enjoys playing with this road mat. He thinks taking it apart and putting it together like a puzzle is just as much fun as rolling his cars on it.
My 5 year old daughter plays with her brother using this mat. She uses the sound buttons to enhance her imaginative play. She also enjoys changing the configuration of the roads.
My daughter wishes that there were 12 tiles instead of 9. She believes that with three extra tiles she could make all the roads flow into one another without having any roads "just hanging out there."

Great mat - but with a flaw

It is a darling mat that will give hours of pleasure to my granddaughter. However, the "flaw" is that one of the sounds does not work: the one over the airport. That is a disappointment; all others work fine. I don't see where there is a battery to change (no paperwork to explain how the sounds work) so I assume that all the sounds will eventually fall silent.

Our grandson has had lots of fun with the Adventure Road Map. We got the one with sound and I'm really glad we did. One caution, we set this up in the living room on wooden floors and after the mat was picked up the floor was very slippery where it had been--so be careful!

This is such a cool toy! Our son plays with all of his vehicles on this mat - cars, airplanes, boats, diggers, etc. He loves to set it up in different ways and asks to bring it upstairs and downstairs.

Versatile, well made, good with small cars and sound effects are terrific. Grandparents and parents are both delighted, so today we will give it to Ronan and he can play with it!

Great toy for imaginative play. My grandson loves it. The sound options are fun and really intrigue our cats too. My grandson is too young to understand the puzzle aspect of putting it together in different ways, but this is a toy that can become more fun as he gets older.

This musical road map is absolutely brilliant. The colours are bright and the town scene is fun and imaginitive. The map is made from a nice thick foam which is soft for children to play on and can also be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The little musical parts are a great bonus. The fact that it can be re-arranged in different ways as each tile is part of the puzle evokes imaginitive play and help with puzzle solving.
