Stimulating toy

Even though the clatterpillar is a simple toy, my daughter finds it to be very visually stimulating esp. when moving back and forth. As a 1 yr. old, she is not quite able to hold it well to make it clatter (needs some help), but will play with it for a moderate period of time before she gets bored. She always gravitated toward this toy at her Gymboree class but they did not sell the product so I was lucky to find it at Fat Brain.

This product is durable and colorful which is very useful for music therapy. Children love the color and noises the Clatterpillar make.

My 18 year old son has Autism. He loves it! The only problem I have with the toy is that it needs to be a bit sturdier. At least 6 of the links have broken off since I gave it to my son. I purchased two, so I will have one in reserve for him.
