excellent beginner spanish vocab review
Posted 11/5/2009 by Susan Corbett

Rating:

My two boys are both enrolled (and struggling with) Spanish. They are very competitive so they really enjoyed Spanish bingo. It is very basic, but after a couple of games, they now know all the words. Wish they had Spanish Bingo/Imperfect and Irregular Verb conjugation!

Great for beginners

I purchased this for my 4 year to enhance her knowledge of basic Spanish. We play it has a family and she loves it. Just after playing it a few times she immediately recognized the spanish name of the bingo chip. The spanish season bingo card is a bit difficult for her to grasp at the moment and for her age but it offers her a challenge.

Spanish Bingo for ages 3 to 6
Posted 5/23/2008

Rating:

I think that this particular Spanish Bingo is better than others I have seen because it involves several different categories for developing Spanish vocabulary. I was looking for a game that would be suitable for a three year old child and this one covers ages 3 to 6. I received this game three days after I had ordered it and that is fast service.

Eboo Games Are Excellent
Posted 11/27/2007 by Maureen DiFalco

Rating:

The product is exceptional. My five-year old is learning Spanish in kindergarten and this is an additional fun way to expand her skills at home. We have used "Dora" bingo in the past, but for whatever reasons, she prefers this more traditional type bingo. Perhaps because Dora's voice is so grating. In any event, I bought this game because we already have the Eboo "Picnic" game, which is played every single evening in our house, so I knew the quality would be good and it would be educational. The more traditional feel and look of the games are much more appealing to my kids than the ramped-up/electronic games out right now. I'm impressed that they get so much more use than those types of games that we own. Even the recent version of Candyland is sort of visually polluted and they tire of it quickly. It's almost as though games now are so distracting to the senses that the notion of playing, focusing and enjoying them is lost.

great first bingo game for little ones

my daughter is 28 months old, but she's enjoyed this game. she hasn't quite mastered the "turn-taking" aspect of the game (it's always her turn), but she enjoys picking the pieces out of the bag to complete her "puzzle". so far we're only playing with a couple of cards (and matching tokens), but i think this game will grow with her. this and the eeboo memory game are our first forays into games vs. just toys. based on our experience on these games, we've decided there's no such thing as too young for games. kids just interpret the rules in different ways. also, the tokens make for interesting game pieces on their own (e.g., vocabulary flash cards). enjoy!

We love our Spanish Bingo!! I purchased this product with the hope that my daughters 7 and 10 would be able to be able to play a game together and to help them learn some Spanish long the way. When I opened the product I was impressed with the quality of the game boards & the "bingo" pieces. They are both colorful and durable for the younger children (and older kids as well). I enjoyed playing the game along with my children! They were having so much fun that they forgot that this was a learning experience. Thank you so much for providing such a great product at such a fabulous price!!!

My four year old nephew loves it. Uses it to play both with someone and by himself. It is doing a good job reinforcing his knowledge of the Spanish language.

Great

Great game! The 5 year-old I gave it to loved it! She is part of a spanish class that meets a few times a week. She was so excited that she knew the words and could match them with the pictures. It is also great that the inside of the box has a pronunciation key for the non-spanish-speaking players! Only thing that was a bit dissappointing was the lack of vocab options. However, for a beginner it is good, she just wasn't very challenged, but then again these words weren't new to her.

I purchased this game as a gift and have therefore not used it, but after opening the lid and examining the contents, it looks so cute, fun and educational that I would like to purchase one for my own children.
