Perfect for little girls

This game is simple enough for my just-turned-3-year-old to follow (we play together) and she just LOVES it! It's lots of fun, but also educational, as it's teaching categorization (each player chooses a dessert or a fancy sandwich or a tea cup etc when they spin that category on the wheel), and proper place setting on a table (it comes with a real fabric "table cloth" and shows where to place each item in your play area- for example, utensils to the left). This is a very girly game, for sure, but Eeboo also makes a VERY similar unisex game-- The Picnic Game-- which we love just as much. In addition, all the pieces are made of heavy duty, unbendable paperboard (I was impressed with the quality) and I expect it to last us a long time!

Sweet & Simple

This game satisfies our almost-four-year-old daughter's desire for a pretend tea party in the form of a game and without all of the prep work. It is simple enough that she even explained the game to her little brother and got him into playing. The game pieces are cute and sturdy. I can see this being a good game for a small birthday party (2-4 players); the girls could do makeovers and get dressed up prior to playing. Your "girly girl" will love this game!

My rating of Tea Party Game

I hosted a tea party for the ladies in my family, which included three generations. The youngest members were 4 and 8. I cracked open my Tea Party Game and we all played. It was great fun and the two youngest members, who were a team together, ended up winning the game - which they loved. The girls were each given their own game as a party favor and they loved that. Thanks.

Great Game for Preschoolers

I bought this game as a gift for a 4 year old and once she opened it, she and the other girls couldn't stop playing it. The pieces are made of sturdy cardboard (like puzzle pieces) and is a fun and easy to learn game for any preschooler.

Tea Party Game

My grandaughter recieved this darling game from me for her fourth birthday and we sat down to play it right away. I don't know who enjoyed it more, her or me. We added fancy tea party hats with pink flowers nd ribbons and had a wonderful time. One rule, having to wait to spin a plate before getting any other pieces, was altered because I couldn't spin a plate for the whole game and it wouldn't have been fun for her if she'd been the one. I'd recommend it to anyone!

My girls (ages 5 and 3) both really love this game. The rules are easy enough for our 3 year old and the concept appeals to both of them. We have already played it many times.

This game is a lot of fun! My 3 year old daughter loves it. She likes to pull it out just to use the pieces themselves, without playing the game.

I love this game! It is my "staple" gift that I give at birthday parties for kids ages 4 or 5. For a girl I give the Tea Party game and for boys I give the Picnic Game. It is adorable and sturdy and completely age appropriate.

The game is super cute and fun to play. My only recommendation is that the spinner should have a "wild card" option because my 3 year old daughter seems to get board during the longer process of trying to get the last item or two. Otherwise, we love this game.

Fun Tea Party Game
Posted 5/9/2007 by JB

Rating:

The Tea Party Game is a fun game that young children will surely enjoy. It would also be fun for adults who want to enjoy a moment of childhood fun, especially at an actual tea party or maybe a shower. The game is made of very sturdy game material. The set includes a cloth table cloth, about the size of a large cloth napkin. It adds to the fun. The playing of the game is quite simple - spin the spinner and land on one of the items of your "place setting". The goal is to be the first to collect all the pieces. There are a couple of rules to follow in the collection of pieces, but children should be able to catch these rules easily. Have fun and pass the scones!

Great Preschool Game

This is a fun and short game for preschoolers. They will enjoy the game pieces for pretend tea parties. I recommend a change in the rules for younger players- begin with a plate.

Great Basic Game
Posted 2/6/2007 by Mom on Long Island

Rating:

This game has the kids take turns and choose one item from 6 categories. When they have collected all six, they win. We have this version of the game and the picnic version. My daughter is 3 1/2 and she and her friends enjoy playing and need little to no help from an adult. When not playing this one as a game, my daughter uses it for pretend play, as a tea party for her and her dolls. This game is a gift for one of her friends who had played it at our house and fell in love with it.

Absolutely Adorable

I bought this game (actually 3 of them) to play at my daughter's 5th birthday party which has a tea party theme. My daughter and I think the game pieces are absolutely adorable and like nothing we have seen before. We cannot wait for the birthday party. (We may just have to sneak in a game or two before the big day.) I was amazed at how deluxe the pieces were and a real cloth tablecloth for such a low price. It will be treasured for years to come!

I love this game. My daughter is almost 3 years old. It helps in teaching her to take turns, spin the arrow and identify the difference between desserts, fruit, and sandwiches. She is excited to have her own "big girl" game that we can all play together. Very good quality. I plan on buying one for a friend's birthday present.
