I will be giving these cards as a gift - I thought that they were bright colored with great pictures & age appropriate for 5 year olds.

These are sturdy cards and the graphics are great. The tips on the laces are sturdy enought for little fingers to use. I purchased this for a summer session with the theme of Under the Sea. Perfect fit for this.

I gave this to my granddaughter because I remember playing with lacing cards when I was a child (MANY years ago). She immediately shared them with her cousin (boy) and they had a great time. I eventually went on to do quite a bit of sewing, both for the family and professionally, and I hope that such a "toy" may inspire others to do the same.

I had lacing cards when I was a kid and I was happy to discover that lacing cards are still made. My 2 year old loves them! They are well made, sturdy, with nice pictures and colorful "thread."

My 3 year old granddaughter is able to lace the cards with no difficulty. The cards are heavy enough for her to handle without bending and the colorful design makes it so much fun for her to work on her sewing.

I don't particularly like these Lacing Cards. I am looking for ones that the pictures are a little less "artsy" and more realistic or simplistic for the kids to do the lacing. It was just about the best option you had available but I know there are better ones out there. I need the kids to be interested in the photo, itself, in order to get them to do the lacing and none of these pictures are all that interesting.
