bought for our desk to add to our Summer Reading Program theme of "Water" decor. Kids won't start signing up until May 22nd, but we adults think it is both handy and adorable. Like that it can be switched on and off to save on batteries. And when turned on, can also be easily activated by picking up a pen or pencil from the holder. I'm sure that kids will find it delightful.
I altered directions somewhat by putting it together without turning it upside down.

This makes my work area at home look beautiful. Now I do not have to reach into my drawers to get pins, pencils, scissors and rulers. This is very conveneint for me!

I purchased this item as a gift but was very impressed that it was well made and if it works as advertised it will be a hit.
The item was well packed and arrived in just a few days.
At this point I'm happy but will know more at Christmas.

This is a cool item. I'm having fun with it on my desk at work. The only thing negative that I have to say about it is that you need a particular size screwdriver to open the battery case, and after trying all the small screwdrivers in my set at home I had to buy one that would work. The rest of the set-up is easy and it seems to work great so far.
