Cool and fun!

This product does just what it says it does. It is fun to see the globe levitating effortlessly above the base. It looks much more cool than other versions that have an arm over the top as well. It makes for a fun conversation piece.

Great toy! It took me less than15 seconds to find the place above the base to get the globe to levitate.
I took it to work, and everyone who has seen it, is very impressed!
The globe floats at a respectable distance above the base
about 1&1/2 inches. I'd like to see a model that floats it
3 inches, but since the magnetic fields are already very powerful, that would very likely wipe out every watch and credit card in your wallet. PS keep it away from you monitor and computer!

Very good product and shipped on time. It is so much fun, you can spin the globe and it goes round and round for few minutes. Assembly was a breeze and all in all, we're very happy with it, THANKS!

This is an easy item to setup for display, although the claim that the globe "revolves slowly" is not part of the actual package from what I can see. No mention of this advertised feature is included in the rather sketchy instruction pamphlet either. Regardless of that minor shortcoming, this is definitely an unusual item that evokes an erie presence; cool and slightly creepy. The other feeling is that of disbelief, as one might feel when observing a professional magician in action, as you see the globe truly hover silently above its base.

The product worked initially and is quite impressive. Unfortunately, the electromagnet in the base failed (at least that is what seems like failed) and the globe no longer levitates. After multiple attempts and letting it sit for quite a while as indicated in the instructions, the globe would never levitate again. If this item functioned correctly as it did the first time I tried it, it is quite a nice item. I guess I just got a defective one. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: Our customer returned this item for credit.)
Fun For Third Graders

I gave this to my daughter for her 9th birthday. She considers herself a girly-girl, but loved getting it and showing her friends how it works. They all discussed which way it should spin, and which pole went on top. It's a little difficult to get it in the right place to hover, but it was just challenging enough that they could all do it.

As an engineer, working with engineers, I found the interest generated by the Levitron AG to be very high, starting with, "Wow, that's cool!", transitioning rapidly to "Wait, how are you doing this?", and ending with a discussion of various levitation methods. I have also found other magnets and configurations which will float on the same base. A great deal of fun for the price.

The item was packaged and presented well. Having no indicator of power on made it difficult to first set up. In fact, it took three days and numerous attempts. Craftsmanship and quality was very good.

The Levitron AG Anti-Gravity Globe is an excellent product. It's easy to use and setup. It's also an excellent conversation piece for the office. My only wish is that Levitron made a larger 8" globe in the same basic configuration.

it's a great product. fun to see and a good deco piece.
thought it does not really flow as streight as on the picutre or as one could imagine. but maybe i just need to get used to setting it up.
