Magnets are not strong enough. Returned product and bought magformers instead- those are a hit!

Both Arx and Magformers are wonderful products. Arx is purposefully designed with lower power magnets rolling within inner channels. Thinking critically and working carefully is a prerequisite to creating clever configurations. Magformers are an "any way works" magnetic building toy requiring less experimentation and problem solving for success.

Kids do not like it

This was a bad choice. I purchased Arx because my kids love to explore and solve challenging puzzles and toys and they love building blocks. For some reason they do not like this toy. After I played with them for a couple of hours I have to with my kids. They do not like it.

Not too impressed. I didn't feel it did what it said it would, the magnets had a hard time sticking together. At 23 years of age I was frustrated because I couldn't get it to do what I wanted... how would a 5 year old feel? So I returned it to Fat Brain. Very good about returns... they are everything they claim to be.

disappointing

From the website I thought these would be really cool. The magnets are only moderately strong. The only thing you can do is make towers, arrange them flat on the floor, or put them side by side. I thought that they would hang precariously like the desk magnet toys. They don't. I passed over a couple other magnet toys because this one was attractive. It is very limited.
