Outstanding Teaching Tool

I am a 7th grade Spanish teacher. As part of our geography unit of Latin America I purchased these puzzles for my classroom. What a great hands on tool! The students are really enjoying them! We are building up to the "speed" contest, but right now they are perfect for working on accuracy. The puzzles are well made and the colors are sharp. The labeling of the map is excellent. I even reccomended the puzzle to the parents of my students for practice at home.

Excellent educational tool

I own the entire series of Geo Puzzles, and I consider them to be a great educational tool. They also have bright, appealing colors, and most of the times one piece is one country (except for very small countries or very large). In regard with design, the only problem that I could find is that the Latin America one (not the others) has some puzzle pieces in the middle that have straight edges. It is a bit confusing for my 6 year old, since he's used with the concept that only the pieces on the margins have straight edges.

GeoPuzzles offer an excellent introduction to Geography for children 3+ years of age. Combined with a globe, they are indispensable tools.

My children enjoy using the Geo Puzzles to learn the locations of countries. Easy to use. Most pieces are the shapes of the countries.

My 6 year old daughter and 9 year old son love to do puzzles. These are great puzzles that they can put together in about 15 minutes. After they finish, I take 5 minutes and explain to them some interesting information on 3 or 4 countries. I also pepper them with a couple direction questions such as, “If you are in the center of Brazil and head northwest, what country will you enter? The ideas for learning are infinite. I usually have them pick a puzzle on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Also, it usually works best if they put the puzzles together by themselves, not together. This is actually the last puzzle in the series that we bought. We started with North America, Europe, etc. The kids usually pick the North American puzzle, but they do like a variety to choose from.
