My rating of GeoPuzzle USA and Canada

Rating:

I was hoping that each state or province would be its own puzzle piece. Some of the small New England states are combined into one piece.

Geographical accurate pieces of the states and Canadian territories. Only minor drawback is the composition of the pieces (thicker would be nicer), but my 12-year-old nephew enjoyed assembling this very much.

We had a similar puzzle (with the pieces cut in the shape of the states), but I really wanted one that included Canada as well. It is a great concept, and my 6 1/2 year old son really enjoys doing it by himself. We also bought the Europe puzzle, and plan to buy all the others from this puzzle line.

Great Teaching Tool!

I bought this as a gift for an elementary school teacher to use in her classroom. She loved it. Even enjoyed putting it together herself.

Map Of U.S. And Canada

I've ordered all five continent puzzles. This is the only one that I wouldn't give the highest rating. The pieces for the U.S./Canada map don't stay together the way the other maps do. The pieces aren't as flat. Still a great learning tool, especially for Canada. I'm glad we own it.

I was looking for a puzzle with each state/country on a separate piece, (which I thought would be the case because the number of pieces is more than the number of states/countries.) Unfortunately, some states/countries were combined. Also, the puzzle is made of only thick cardboard, already a couple of pieces are dogeared.
