We are using this toy as part of the School of Medicine outreach activities to teach kids about the brain and the nervous system. The Brain Cell Petri Dish draws their attention and keeps them interested in what they are being taught.

I gave these brain cells as rewards to 9th grade high school students for "growing brain cells" throughout the year. A few students were not impressed but most have been carrying their brain cells around with them ever since.

I've been getting these for my sister as gifts. she loves them. they are really funny and she loves science and all that. I told her when she's a big ime doctor she can use these to decorate her office...haha.
