I bought this toy for my grandson who is 22 months. At this time he loves the balls & the magnetic legs only. He is not ready for some of the additional parts but I can add those to the set as he continues to grow. It is also a great toy for my husband & our grandson to play with together.

The magnets work well and my two year old son enjoys putting the pieces together. They do come apart quickly so it can be frustrating when trying to make a large model. It is nice quality and good for small hands. I would recommend this as a toy for little people who enjoy having a range of things to build with.

The 89 pieces is misleading. A lot of the pieces are the actual small clips and are not the large pieces you would expect. The magnets are not very strong. There is no book or example that kids can look at to build some shapes. Overall it is just not practical to build with. My daughter is only using the balls to throw them around.

Would be useful to have more pictures of completed projects. Even though it is for 2 year olds, it is a little too sophisticated for the young two year old.

Magnetic Marvels

This magnetic toy is wonderful because my 19 month old grandson is fascinated by it - but it will last forever because so is his father! The best toys are those that grow with the child and this one definitely will. You can make the simplest designs or some very complicated ones.
