The size of the blocks and variety of shapes was a wonderful addition to our existing blocks. However, the quality of the finish was poor. Within minutes of playing with the blocks both children and I received splinters!!! There were rough and jagged edges. I ended spending many hours carfuly sanding the blocks with fine sandpaper to receive the finished quality I expecting. All our other natural unvanished blocks have been beautifully smoothly finished but these were not. I would not order this product again nor would I recommend it to under 3 years old because of the lack of detail to the finish to prevent splinters.
