Took a while for my son to adjust to it since it dealt with colors and designs as opposed to tangible objects/animals. We're getting there...

You Can't Tell a Product by Its Box

I ordered Indian Summer because it had magnets on the back and I love the idea of letting children create with patterns. I found that the magnets are precut and easy to put on the smooth fine wooden pieces. The patterns were thrilling to me! The pictures online and on the box do not do justice to the colors and details. I am considering buying another set to allow more creativity. It seemed that there should have been eight more quarter pieces in the box, as there were extra magnetic pieces.

Fun for the Family

All my children, ranging in age from 7-11, have been playing with it as well as her father and I. The colors are engaging. The given patterns are fun to duplicate and my children have already been creating pictures of their own. I would recommend it to just about anyone with children over 3 or even just for a neat coffee table toy for adults. The only thing to know is that the magnets come separately and need to be stuck to the back of the pieces. I think it took my husband and I less than half an hour to do this.

I really like this one! My daughter is 28 months, and the 24 piece puzzles are too easy & she can almost master the M&D 48 pieces puzzles. This was finally a challenge for her.

I gave this to my 5 year old niece for Christmas. She opened it right away , started putting the adhesive magnets on the pieces, and putting together a design. I could tell she was having fun. She wouldn't even let anyone help put the magnets on the wooden pieces. I think it was a hit !

We all love doing this, it even has the adults thinking, my 5year old granddaughter cannot get enough of it. Very happy to have it. Thank you.

It looks very well made. It's a toy that I got with a niece in mind but now that I've seen it, I'm ordering one for my two toddlers. It looks like it really inspires creativity and will help with pattern recognition and dexterity. And I love that it's magnetic. Easier to keep track of and can do it on the fridge.
