this toy is sturdy. bought for my 1 yr old and he loves it. the musical keys sound good and are not too loud- even though he often plays on our hardwood floors. the balls require a bit of effort to tap through the holes, another reason it keeps my guy busy. very happy with our purchase

I purchased this toy for my one year old for Christmas, along with some other great toys from fat brain... My son is 13 months and loves this toy! The colors are bright and age appropriate. He loves to bang on the xylophone with the mallet. Definitely a great toy for a baby boy or girl!

disappointing

We are returning this due to disappointing quality. The balls and bench are nice, but the mallet is flimsy (the plastic part feels cheap). We bought this based on the brand. We have many other toys made by this brand that are wooden, well-sized and well-made, but this does not match their quality. Our biggest disappointment is the xylophone. It's out of tune, the keys are shifty, and it's hard to get sound to get out of it. Whether you're playing it with the mallet or letting the balls drop onto it, there's often no melody emerging.


	We assisted our customer promptly. A defective toy resonates as good reason to contact us. Visit the Returns & Exchanges Center for customer care that's in tune with your expectations.

It feels sturdy. Built strong enough to endure the roughest play sessions. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
