A classic game that's a lot of fun. Sometimes a little too complicated though the instructions are very clear.

Review for Game of Life

I purchased all of my Fat Brain toys for children of families I sponsored at Christmas thru a local organization known as Angel Baskets, so I don't know the children who received them. But I was impressed w/ the quality of the packaging and the timing of delivery AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE TOYS WERE MADE IN THE USA

New and Improved Game of Life (it's gotten even better!)

This game has certainly changed since I last played it in the early 1970's. But I bought it for our family and it has certainly been updated. "Pay Taxes" spaces are plenty. There have been some notable changes such as the vehicles. No longer do we have the drop-top sedans but now we're driving minivans. The amounts paid on payday have certainly gone up. The path to college starts with a $100,00 loan (!) from the bank and ends with you selecting a college career from a deck. The Free Spin has definitely added more fun and flair to the game. And homes now include the "Starter Home" and your "final" home. There is now a share the wealth cards (I don't remember those) and your long-term investment. While the game has become a little more complicated, it hasn't lost its charm after all these years. My wife, 8-year old son, and I played last night and it was a delightful 2 hours. We're looking forward to playing it again.
