Fun toy. It's very large but fun. I've noticed our older children have more fun with this than our 3 year old may have something to do with the size.

Great Fun!

Bought this for twin six year old grandsons' month-long summer visit. Had previously purchased one at cool toy store in Staunton, VA, so knew the product and how much the guys enjoyed it. I wanted one here because it's a real ice-breaker when getting groups of kids together and I knew we'd have gatherings of cousins and friends where that would be important. It's WONDERFUL fun for EVERYONE! Three year olds can pluck or shake it and adults use it to make all kinds of sounds --- lots reminiscent of old sci-fi! Only concern is that with the one we just bought, the nub/button of plastic on one end became loose and then fell off. I hope that the chord inside does not detach.

After the newness wore out, my son doesn't use it very much. It's durability isn't that great. The noise; however that it makes is very cool.
