Ridiculously simple but great!

This silly thing kept my son and his friends busy for hours and has since kept my son entertained for the entire week since he recieved it. I bought two extra rockets just in case they got lost. They land on the roof all the time, but eventually blow down.

What I love about this toy is that the beauty is in the simplicity. While it seems like it is a little on the pricy side for what it is, it is awesome to open the box and have an eight year old know exactly what to do to make it work. I think the fact that he wanted to play with it outside in the dark as soon as it was out of the box says it all. In an age where kids all want video games, this is exactly the kind of physical and educational toy that can still get them excited.

The kids played with it as soon as they received with 4 adults watching to make sure they played together nicely. The bracket holding the launcher broke within a few minutes of play. They loved the toy and were, of course, disappointed.

great toy for young ( & big) kids, hours of fun to be had. Kids tend to be very creative with this toy and are able to find many uses and develop many games with the launch pad and rockets - they can even make their own rockets using small empty water bottles.

My kids first tried another child's Ultra Stomp Rocket while at the park, and they begged me for it afterwards. It's simple design provides fun for all ages (my kids are 8, 4, and 2). Even I'm impressed by how high it goes...We've already lost one rocket to the roof, so we'll probably by ordering an extra package.
Would make a great gift, especially since it's not found in the mass merchants.

I think every kid should have this toy. It appeals to everyone, young and old, male or female. I definitely recommend getting a pack of extra rockets, you'll need them!

Generally I'm pleased with the stomp rockets. I love the fact that it doesn't require batteries and yet creates lots of energy. The plastic stand is flimsy and will not hold together so we just hold it in our hand to launch. And the rockets' fins are already after less than a month have torn and are falling off. Wish it could be better constructed. It feels like a toy that just isn't made to last, unfortunately.

My son received one of these for Christmas and it was an absolute HIT. He and all the neighborhood kids (whom range in age from 3 to 12 years old) played with the Stomp Rocket for hours. I just purchased another as a birthday present, making this the 3rd Stomp Rocket purchase for us. You just cannot go wrong with this simple, affordable toy.

Great physical toy for the boys. Make sure you launch/stomp in an open field or you'll risk the rockets falling into the neighbor's when the wind is strong.

Most popular toy at the party.

We just got together with relatives who we hadn't seen at Christmas. When the kids opened their gifts, the Stomp Rocket was the immediate favorite. We gave it to twins so there were two Stomp Rockets. The kids abandoned all the other gifts and went into the backyard, on a warm winter day, to play with them and seemed to have a ball. Note: This toy works better on a flat surface than on one that isn't. Still, the kids didn't seem to mind and the adults had a quiet hour or two while they were outside sending rockets to the moon...

This toy has a fairly simple design, but provides lots of excitement. I remember getting a toy like this for Christmas as a kid, so I thought I'd get this rocket launcher for my kid. The main difference is that this stomp rocket shoots it's large, foam tipped darts about 20X farther than mine. I am reviewing this rocket as a parent (a few weeks before my kid opens it for Christmas) to decide if I want to buy a second for my other son. I'll admit - I'm impressed.
Assembly: It took just a few minutes to assemble the 3-part base and to attach the air hose to the base. Then I tried a couple of test shots across the house. Based on the wife's response, we'll call this is definitely an OUTDOOR toy. (The one I had as a kid was safe inside).
Quality: The toy itself is obviously pretty cheap, the all the parts seem reasonably durable. I'll have to write a new review in several months to see if these toys withstand the test of time. My first impression, though, is that the darts will last if we keep the baby from chewing on them. Even the plastic parts used as fins seem pretty thick. The part that seems the most flimsy is the air hose, but I guess time will tell the true quality.
This toy looks fun. Too much fun for just one. I'm getting a second so my boys came have rocket competitions (or rocket wars) with each other.

I am disappointed by the quality of the product. I don't anticipate it will last more than a few weeks. That being said, my son four year old son loves the toy. We have played with it several times in the last few days.

Not the sturdiest but not overpriced either. The rocket soars the 200 ft when an adult steps on it but when a toddler does it goes up maybe 10 feet which we think works out just great.

These things are SO much fun. We take them on vacation with us, find a park, and go to it. They have soft tips, so are safe. My husband and I enjoy them too. A great family activity.

I got this for three boy siblings, one for each of them, and they love to do competitions on who shoots the rocket further away. Its great to see them run and go crazy when these rockets go up in the air. They've attached plastic soldiers to the ends and all kinds of other small toys to see how they fly off into space.

I am teaching a Space Camp this summer and this will be a fun, safe and easy way for the kids to act out a launch, and for me to talk about it. They are 3-4 years old for one group and up to 7 in another. I liked how easy it is to use even with your hands. I have seen it used at birthday parties in a park, the ideal setting.

Loved the natural energy that goes into launching the rocket and chasing after it. I bought it for my nephew for Christmas, and ALL the cousins had fun chasing rockets around the park and stomping them into the air. The adults had fun too. The rockets do break, and they do best where there are no buildings to catch them. Plan on getting one for MY son this Christmas.

We purchased this to have for our grandchildren when they come over to play. They range from ages 10 to 3. Even our 3 year old, with some adult or older children, assistance can play with this. I like this just as much as the smaller version.

We were pleasantly surprised when our 6 year old grandson got all excited when he saw the Ultra Stomp rocket box. He had played with it before and loved it. After opening the package and assembling the rocket he shot rockets up into the two-story ceiling and had the best time. He had received many birthday gifts but this one was the hit of the party. Other kids loved playing with it too. We highly recommend this product.

The Ultra Stomp Rocket I purchased to use in a school setting as a speech-language therapy tool to motivate socially challenged students to work together. It was easy to assemble quickly before recess. I recommend the Ultra, as in the past I have used other stomp rockets and the rockets were too small. The rockets are big enough to not be fragile. I highly recommend this product and may buy it for my own children at home!

Easy to use rocket takes off with a powerful trajectory and thrills the kids launching it. Of course, boys being boys, after a few launches, they started attaching things to the rocket (a transformer, a glo stick, a flag) but it kept them amused and my nephew called his friends and had them come over to see it as well. Overall, a great success!

Very simple to put together without tools. 90% plastic and I hope it is more durable than it feels. The kids think it is great and they are learning how different positions and angles effect the flying pattern of the rocket. But mostly my kids just love to stomp and jump on it to see how high they can get it to go. It would make a good string guide to get a rope over a high limb to hang a swing. It really goes high and no batteries needed that is the best part.

We had this toy years ago when our children were younger.At a recent family gathering my nephew remembered it as "the best toy ever".I went online the next day, found it, and bought two!Will be ordering several more to give as gifts as they were a HUGE hit at my recent barbecue.

My son loves this toy. He has figured out how high it goes based on how tall our house is. He is 7 and helps our 5 year old on how to estimate his height of his rocket by using the tall tree in our yard and our house. It came with 4 rockets, we bought 2 extra. They each do three and work on taking turns. They exercise teamwork by going after each other's rockets. It is neverending fun for them!

Our neighbor had this toy and our son longed for it all last summer; he was thrilled to finally get it for his birthday! At 8 yrs old, he can stomp that thing pretty hard and get the rocket to go really high, but even his 5 y/o sister has a blast with it. The neighbor's stomp rocket lasted through a whole summer of kids jumping on it, and I expect ours will too :-)

I picked up several sets to give at Christmas....What a hit this was. kids from 3 to 15 played with this for hours and adults got into the action too. Its so simple to set up and shoot. All the kids lined up waiting for their turn shouting "it's my turn now" when it was their time. I was surprised and pleased at the excitment this toy created.

Super fun for everyone! Took to the beach and had a crowd watching has we went as high up as we could then went as long as we could. Easy to do and easy to tote around just about anywhere. Best for wide open spaces.

I bought this ultra and the smaller stomp rocket for my 5 and 3 year old grandsons. It was the perfect gift since they could both participate and not compete for just one unit. Had a great time. Just had to arbitrate for time with my 40 year old son, their father, who liked it as much as his sons did.

Fun toy. My 7 year old loved it. The only reason four instead of five stars is the construction of the "stand" that holds up the mechanism. Seems flimsy and may break easily. We make sure to keep the part you stomp on as far from the stand as possible. But still a fun toy if kids are playing with it properly.

My 7 yr old daughter received this as a birthday present and loves it! It works exactly as described and shot the rockets well into the air. Obviously, the bigger the person jumping on the launcher, the higher it would go. She was happy to have several of us playing with it together so we could see who could shoot it higher, farther, etc. It was great to play with something that didn't need batteries and didn't involve looking at a screen. My only concern is how long the stomper part will last...as bigger kids play it may be harder for it to "reinflate" to launch more rockets.

I bought this knowing that I had 15 kids coming to a family party. The kids loved it! It's made of higher quality plastic and the rockets are scuffed after being shot over concrete and through the trees but they're all still intact and kept everyone occupied for well over an hour. The rockets really do fly quite far or high enough for that "wow" factor. My children have played with it twice since the party so I feel it's a great value that really does what it promises.

Stomp Rocket

We bought the Stomp Rocket for our six-year-old neighbor for his birthday. He absolutely loved it. The kids love to play with it on the patio. They take turns seeing who can send the rockets up the highest, and who can catch them as they fall. Even the adults want to play. It is a very fun, entertaining toy.

My nephew opened it last week for his birthday. I took it outside and set it up and before long, everybody--himself, his sister, and a bunch of adult relatives were lining up to take their turn. Great product. The only annoyance is that the rocket stand falls apart frequently--but it's easy and quick to put back together again.

Kids loved it but we live in Iowa and it is an outside toy. Dangerous inside and you want it to be standing up so it does not hit someone, but the kids liked the fun of jumping and making it sail into space. Even aunt and uncle, grandma and grandpa, mom and dad had to take turns.

This is a lot of fun for our soon-to-be 10 year old. It's something he and his younger brother can do outside (and attempt inside...). It's easy enough to do that most children can enjoy it. For the price, it's just what I expected. Hopefully they'll enjoy it for a long time. I'm glad to see that replacement rockets are available.

My son, who is almost 2, loves stomp rockets! We were told they were a good toy for kids with flat feet, which he has. It's safe and easy and fun. The only thing I don't like is the stand you attach the rocket to. It's a little flimsy and we had to tape it just so it was stay together. Other than that, we love it.

we used it only a few times so far and 2 of the rockets went so high that they got stuck in the tree - but nothing you can reach with a ladder! We'll have to wait til the wind blows them down. Much easier than a hydrogen rocket we tried last year but goes just as high.

My grandkids, ages 3-10 just love this toy! They play with it outdoors and it's lots of fun. The main problem I is that the connecting yellow plastic pieces that hold the stomp rocket up break easily and are cheaply made. This is the second stomp rocket set I bought because the first one broke. Because my kids like it so much I decided to buy it again. I give this toy four stars because the kids love it, but it gets only one star for durability.

Out of all the toys that this 4 year old received, the ultra stomp rocket created the most fun for him and his friends. They were all anxous to stomp the rocket and spent a large portion of his birthday party stomping.

I just purchased two Ultra Stomp Rockets, one as a gift and one for my 4 year old son. We had played with them at a friends house, and my son had LOVED it! and I had been looking for it ever since! The stand is a little rickety BUT it provides countless hours of entertainment to children of all ages (and some adults, too!)

My son, who is 4, absolutely loves this toy. Even though it says the toy is for older kids, he has no problem launching the rockets and is very proud at how high he can make the rockets go. We took the launcher to the playground and in no time at all had a large group of kids all wanting to take a turn! My son certainly proved that day that he knows how to share!

We gave this to our grandson for his 5th Birthday. Not only did it keep him engaged for an hour and a half, happily retrieving the rocket each time, but all the men in the family, father, uncle and grandparents took turns and had fun with it, too.

I gave this as a valentine present to my 6 year old grandson which he loved it but could only play alittle bit outside due to the weather. But, my 2 year old picked it up and played with all evening as a vacuum cleaner. simple but clever toy that even the "big boys" in the family enjoyed while outside.

it is lots of fun and the rocket flies really high. the stand is a little rickety (it's lightweight) we live in a windy city and it tends to blow over, but we can work around that. it's fun because it really flies!

I'm ordering this toy again-- my 5 year old grandson played with it so much that it was "loved" to pieces! The StompRocket appeals to both boys and girls, gets kids outdoors and moving, and is fun for children across a range of ages to play with (even grownups).

I have seven gkids all 5 and under. Bought this for grandson that just turned 5. He was amazing, and he shared with all his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents! We all had a super time stomping the rocket in all different directions. Even held the babies up and helped them stomp, it was great fun! What I loved was the ease of set up, no batteries, and it generated lots of activity and exercise.

We bought this for our cousin's 4th birthday. Before the poor little guy could even open the rest of his presents, his dad had it assembled and was launching rockets across the living room for older cousins to catch. We launched rockets off the deck into the backyard where the kids were waiting. Eventually, we even let the kids play with it! The birthday boy and his 5-year-old brother really seemed to enjoy playing with this, as did my 4 little boys (ages 4-8) and other cousins in their 20's. I plan to order more for the many birthday parties we attend for little boys at school. For this price, there aren't any better toys on the market. It's sturdy, well-constructed, doesn't have too many little pieces and keeps them occupied for hours at a time.

This is the second Stomp Rocket I've purchased. The first was for my grandson. He loves it, his friends love it, and some adults love to pay too. I just recently ordered another for my grandson's friend for his birthday, because he wants to play with it every time he comes over. We love the simplicity of it (no batteries, etc.) It has been a hit with the children at two birthday parties.

I bought this rocket for my 9yr old boy (birthday pres) He loved it. but so did his little brother, cousins, dad ect...
Instant crowd pleaser....we set up an impromptu target range and everyone had a go. the children truly enjoyed this easy to use rocket. also i liked the construction of the rockets just sturdy enough to be handled by all kids w/o much concern that they could be broken.
my younger son has requsted an ultra rocket of his own so that he and his brother can "shoot at" each others targets(and prob each other) boys will be boys...sigh...

My grandchildren love it! I see my grandchildren often and like to keep toys/bikes etc. at my house so that they will have fun memories of their Noni & Poppy!! So I saw this product from a google search and they absolutely love it. It was an immediate hit, even their Dads wanted a try. It's a very interactive toy which adds to the exercise both mentally and physically, which I love. I bought the Jr. version for my almost 3yr old and the Ultra version for my 7 yr old Grandson.

Loves the Ultra Stomp Rockets.
Fat Brain service was top-notch.
An outstanding toy, however - two of the rockets have broken fins already. The fins are of a very poor quality - very disappointing. On two of the four rockets included in the set, the fins were not even attached properly in the first place.
This toy, for what it is, is very reasonably priced. Adding five bucks of quality to it is something I would have happily paid for. As it is, I don't expect it will last all that long.

Our children love this toy!! Our 6 and 4 year old love stomping to make the rocket fly high and our 2 year old loves chasing after the rockets once they fall. This is a great toy for several children to play with at once (perfect for playdates and birthday parties).

I gave the "ultra stomp rocket" as a birthday gift to a set of twin boys, age 8. The product was easy to assemble and worked exactly as described. It was an absolute party favorite, the boys, girls, and PARENTS had a blast playing with it.
I recomend getting the refill pack too! Trees LOVE these rockets :D

Hugely popular with my son & his friends. Pretty easy to assemble therefore soon this 5yr old will be doing it himself.
Although it says it can go 200ft, we have not seen this - which is JUST fine. So far we have only lost one rocket to the oak trees - waiting for a wind storm to blow it down.

My boys (9 and 7) play with this stomp rocket all the time. It shoots high far. Friends who visit are always drawn to it and that makes getting them to leave very hard for their moms.
Design wise they still have not reinforced the base/stand very well: we had one a few years ago that broke right away when just putting it together, so I was wiser this time around and reinforced the weak points with ductape right away before using.

This product was a gift, but we have heard that it is being enjoyed quite a bit. You (obviously) need some fairly open spaces to use this well, but if you have them it's lots of fun. A flat "launching pad" works better, but you can also use this if your lawn is bumpy. Try shooting for distance if you have some really uneven terrain.

Bought this for my 7 year old grandson (who is a budding scientist). He loved it. The neighborhood kids thought it was great also. My grandson started to try to predict where the rockets would go. It was fun for him. Hopefully he will continue to play with it. I bought extra rockets, just in case they landed on a roof or something.

I bought this for my Grandson for his seventh Birthday and he loves it.
He played with it continually the day of his Birthday and it one of his favorite toys. I was a bit concerned when I bought it that he wouldn't be able to use it except in a large space like a park, but he showed me how he could use it in his room just using a much lighter hit with one foot or his fist to lob it across the room or directly at a target. The rockets are all foam, durable and light. The pump seems to be pretty durable and simple. I recommend this toy as fun, robust and educational.

This is the second one of these I bought, as we wanted one at our house too! I gave it to my grandson on his 5th birthday last year and it was hit of the party. All the grownups were taking turns as well as the kids, and it kept everyone busy for the duration of the party. Set up is so easy and any age can play including small toddlers. We love taking it to the beach in summer where there are no trees for rockets to get caught in!

A simple, enjoyable toy for the whole family. We took to Grandmas and all the kids (including the 18month old and the 2year old) played with it for hours .... in the snow!! It was fun for the adults too - had to ask Dads to give the kids a turn!

The kids (and adults!) have had lots of fun with the Stomp Rocket. Unfortunately in the excitement of stomping and chasing after the rockets, if the rockets get stepped on, they break and become less launchable! So, just be aware that the rockets can't be stepped on.

It's new to my grand daughter for now. I am sure her excitement will wear off in time but can guaruntee she will go back to it often.
As an adult it is fun watching it "go up".
As a 6 year old ....it seems.... "way high"!
Age is for 8+
Under 8 in some cases,may not weigh enough to launch.

The overall idea of this toy is so fun, a great gift for a 7 year old boy. But, his 51 year old Aunt had a blast to. If I were to sum it all up, the toy could be made a little more durable. The stand of plastic falls over easy and the rocket themselves could be made a little stronger since it is used outside for the most fun.

I purchased this for my 6 year old Grandson and he has not stopped playing with it..I ordered extra rockets and will order more..we lost a few in the trees. Easy to use..the only thing I did was re-inforce the stand connections with some duct tape to keep it from coming apart from so much use.

My 3 year old twin boys received this as a gift and they love seeing how far they can shoot the rockets! It is very simple for them to use and they can set it up on their own. The only thing I would recommend is that you tape the stands "legs" together so that it doesn't come apart. This will save you from having to keep putting the stand back together constantly!

My son, as well as every kid in the neighborhood, LOVES the stomp rocket. The thing I would change on it is the base, it comes apart easily. The kids don't mind, however, because they can aim the rocket and chase each other with it. Overall, very happy with the product.

I purchased the Stomp Rocket for my grandson's 7th birthday. I observed him playing with it the next day. It launched easily and soared well above their two story home. Two playmates, ages 6 and 9 were also enjoying the toy.
The only criticism I would have is with the 3 piece plastic base. We had some difficulty keeping it snapped. We used a large rubber band to secure it and the children played happily with it.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 4 year old, both him and his 6 year old brother LOVE it!! They have gotten hours of entertainment so far and don't seem to be getting tired of it. I think out of all of the birthday presents my 4 year old received, this is the favorite of them all!
The only reason I didn't give this toy 5 stars is because of the quality of the toy itself, specifically the "rockets". They have very flimsy fins around the edge at the bottom and one of them ripped in only 5 minutes of play (the rockets work fine without them, so it's not a huge deal, but still....) My husband taped them back on and so far they seem to be holding. I also wish the plastic that the launcher was made from was a little heavier so that it wouldn't move out of place so easily when being used. That being said, the toy is only $15 so I am not complaining much, especially considering how much my kids love it. I would buy it again even with the small issues we have had.

Got this for my daughter's 13th birthday. Not a typical girl toy, but we are just beginning to have "mixed" company get togethers. This rocket was such a hit. They actually wanted to take it outside right away, and she left presents sitting on the table to play with this for about an hour. When big brother (17) got home, he even joined in! Highly suggest this toy; don't forget to buy the extra rockets tho!

All of my nephews (ages 3, 6 and 8) loved this toy. They took turns shooting it into the air. Even the smallest of them was able to shoot it pretty high in the air, so not necessarily a need for the Jr Stomp Rocket. With the foam tips, it can be shot inside without damaging ceilings, bothering upstairs neighbors or damaging the rockets. The tubing is a bit too easily bendable in ways that damage the plastic. A rubber tube may be more hearty. The fins on the rockets could be made of something a little more hearty as well. They were already tearing after just an hour of use.

This was gifted to my 10yr old daughter and totally meets and exceeds our expectations.
LOTS of FUN. Definitely shoots high in the air.
An outside, year round, interactive toy that can be enjoyed by one or many players of all ages.
The Grandparents even loved jumping on the pad and watching the rockets shoot up in the air.
Minimal set up requirements make it even better because the kids don't need help to play with the toy.
Minimal storage space is a plus also.

Bought two, one for each of our grandkids so they could play together. They enjoyed it for a while but went on to other things in short order. I think it might be the job of running after the rockets after they launch that tires them.
Base is a little on the cheap side and keeps falling over.
The rockets can get pretty high which is fun.

I gave two of these to my grandchildren for Chanukah and they love them. They are really easy to use and require no preparation. One thing to be aware of, they fly very high in the air so if you are near a wall they could go over. The best place to use them is in an large open area. These are not indoor toys.

My grandchildren really enjoyed the Ultra Stomp Rocket. It was a very hot day and had that not been the case I'm sure they would have played with it much longer than 45 minutes. In any event, they had lots of fun with it and so did I. The quality of the rockets appear somewhat poor so I'm not sure how long they will last. Hope I'm wrong.

We used it as part of my son's birthday party and it was very popular with all ages. . . the youngest (18 mo) could sit on it to make it go or use just one foot and the oldest at the party (7 yr) could make it go incredibly high. It have used a different brand of these in the past and it was much less sturdy and the rockets would not go as high.

I bought this for my grandson's birthday he was 6yrs. they have a very big back yard and he had a ball with it. He let all the kids at the party have a turn and even the older children thought it was neat. I would hihly recoment this toy.

Excellent toy for all ages and sexes. Provides hours of focused outdoor play for our four year old son. We also gave this as a gift to our son's friend, a four year old girl. She enjoys it just as much. This toy will grow with him as well. Right now, he enjoys stomping it and seeing how high he can blast the rocket. Future play includes trajectory and force applications. The whole family enjoys it!

It is a great toy and lots of fun for all ages. Easily assembled and can be played with anywhere. Always a favorite when the neighborhood kids come around. Purchased for my five year old and he enjoys it but still realizing the potential of watching those rockets soar. It will be one we have for awhile. had the Stomp Rocket Jr. verse first but like the design of the rocket better on the Ultra version the best. Feel it can be used by all ages as long as parent supervision is available for the 5 and under crowd.
A must have for all and the birthday gift of choice we purchased for all the preschooler parties we have been to. Always a hit!!!!

This is an EXCELLENT toy - we know about a dozen families who went out and got one after they encountered it (it's even fun for the adults to play with). My only reservation is that the plastic stand that holds up the rocket-launching tube breaks easily - my daughter accidentally stepped on it and snapped off one piece. It's still usable, just less stable.

Stomp rockets are fun for all ages. I got the ultimate for my 3 year old. It is really the same as the junior except the rockets are heavier so the older kids can send them much higher in the air. These are easy to use and the kids seem to love them. I have had the junior on in the past. Glad I went with this so his older siblings can enjoy as well. I recommend.

This is a great toy for the whole family. I think it says 8 and up but my 21/2 year old is able to stomp on it and send the rockets flying just like his big brother. I would give it 5 stars except the rocket base is pretty flimsy plastic and it was broken by one of the kids stepping on it so we bought this as a replacement. Make the base sturdier and it is definitely a 5 star toy.

My grandsons (an 8-year old and two 4-year olds) love it and play with it over and over again. The only issue I have with the quality is this: After just just 30 minutes of launching the rockets, the thin plastic tail that helps the rocket fly straight started breaking apart.
I do like the fact that it is so easy to assemble....the 8-year old had no problem putting the stand together and getting started.

We go this for our four and half year old son for Christmas. It was easy to put together and easy to explain. Step hard, rocket goes up. Our son and the boy next door have pulled this toy our repeatedly and have a great time. It is amazing something so simple is so much fun. The only "complaint" is the frame/base comes apart easily, but it isn't anything a little duct tape can't fix. I would recommend this product to anyone, especailly if they have boys.

My 5-year-old son loves his new stomp rocket. He finds it incredibly funny to watch it fly high in the sky and has been having fun with his older sister as they try to catch it. Changing the angle at which it shoots has been fun also; he likes to see how far (vertically) he can make it go. The rocket is simple to use and would be enjoyed by a variety of ages.

This was a big hit at Christmas with my 2 1/2 year old. He loves rockets. In the past any rocket toy we had involved me mixing baking soda and vinegar or what not, but this was fun because he could do it all by himself and required no time in between launches. He wouldn't stop stomping on that thing! He liked doing it in the house and outside as well and having competitions with his brother to see how high they could make it go. This thing is perfect for little kids because it's just easy, uses their muscles, let's them feel that excitement at watching the rocket go up, and is well-built. I also like the actual rockets - they have a rubbery thing at the end that weights them so they fall straight down instead of floating around, and they also are rounded at the end so no one gets hurt if they fall on them. Love this thing!

My son loves this toy! He loves to show me how he can shoot the rocket at different speeds by squeezing the bladder hard or soft. I like that he can play with it in the house by being careful and shooting it lightly and then go outside and shoot it hard, it really flies far! He also plays with the bladder alone by puffing air. Excellent toy, the rockets are soft but haven't fallen apart. It's a great price point too. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this as a family gift for Christmas. My children are 3 and 1 but because this product is so easy to use they had a blast playing with it. At their age they can play with the stomp rocket inside and not hurt anything since they can't stomp super hard yet and we have high ceilings. Christmas day was pretty warm here and they got to go outside and see what it could do when an adult used it as well, they LOVED that!
This is a wonderful product and something that all ages can use and enjoy together!!!

INTERESTING TOY, HE LOVES IT AND GETS GREAT EXERCISE RUNNING AFTER THE ROCKETS. I THOUGHT I SAW A 400' ALTITUDE STOMP ROCKET "ULTRA", BUT HAD TO SETTLE FOR THE 200' VERSION. MY 7 Y.O. CAN GET 50-75' WITH A GOOD STOMP, I GET ABOUT 100', ONLY HALF THE ADVERTIZED ALTITUDE. MAYBE IT WILL WORK BETTER IN SUMMER.

This was a Christmas present to our 6 yo son. He put it together by himself and started using it in minutes. He has had so much fun stomping and jumping trying to shoot the rocket higher and higher. I love that hey have to run and chase the rocket. It is great exercise without them even knowing it. I also love that there are minimal parts and it requires nothing but kid power.

This is a great version of this toy - I've bought a different one in the past and it wasn't made as well so the stomp pad didn't hold up to all the stomping and to rockets didn't last. This one feels sturdier and has a metal tightening wing-nut on the connection between the tube and stomp pad which helps keep the parts together during energetic stomping. My son (8) loves this toy and just cracks up when those rockets go flying - and they go FAR.

I bought these as gifts for a 3, 5, 7, and 8 year olds boys and girls. They were a huge hit for Christmas! They had all the cousins running outside to see who could gets theirs the highest!

Despite your warnings to the contrary, the rocket was propelled into the mantle knocking over 2 pictures , sunglasses and knocking keys to the floor. The only problem with the rocket to an eight year old is that you can "Aim" it and "shoot" it.

We bought four of these for our nephews, ages 5-10. They quick assembled them (one or two minutes) and took them outside, set them up and within five minutes of opening they were jumping on them, competing for accuracy and how far the rockets went up. They enjoyed them. When we left they were still playing with them. A terrific outside toy.

it is an outdoor toy, and since it is snowing right now, it is not conducive to using. However, for an hour after it was opened, ALL the "kids" in the house went outside to al least try it out. the younger kids varied the angle of trajectory, and the bigger kids (we adults) played the fetching game. But we all had a great deal of fun.

The set up is incredibly simple and the stomp rocket provides hours of fun outdoors. The our kids (ages 2 and 4) LOVE it. They like stomping and also love watching mommy and daddy send the rockets REALLY high. We've given this toy as a gift twice too and the recipients were very excited. It's best if you have a good amount of open space for launching. I also recommend buying extra rockets.

We used this at a family thanksgiving get together. The kids, young and old alike liked it very much. However, like anything else, you can only watch or do something for so long until it becomes the same old thing. The kids played with this for about two hours and then moved on to something else. The toy did deliver on its promise and it took some real pounding from some big teenagers and it never failed to work. It performed every time it was used. I will be taking it to my next cub scout event for a new group of users to have more fun.

This was a highly recommended toy for my very active 7 year old son. He absolutely loves it and thinks it's the coolest thing that the rocket flies so high. I did ask about durability when I purchased the toy. I was told it was very durable. The quality of the toy is really the only disappointment. It's made with very cheap material. One of the rockets broke within the first 10 minutes my son played with it. That was a little frustrating, as I had been told that it was very durable.

The stomp rocket is fabulous! It's easy to operate. And it FLIES SO HIGH! It has parts, however, that are not very sturdily made. The little red fins on the rockets began falling off and suffering tears after only 1/2 hour of use. I repaired some with duct tape and pro-actively secured the rest. Also the little stand seems to fall apart a lot, and my kids need me to put it back together. I realize the stand has to be in pieces so that it will package flat, but I wish it were sturdier.

I purchased this toy for my son's birthday last April. He loved it. The rockets fly so high. Make sure you find an open area away from trees. Little boys can stomp hard. Since he loved it so much, I bought another for his friend's birthday. When I picked him up from the party, the rocket was the toy of the day.

Kids don't get tired of watching these rockets zip skyward. Always trying to make them go higher, and they do get up there. Detractors are that the stand is flimsy (recommend securing one leg to a piece of 2x4") and the fins on the rockets tear easily.

Not only did my 5 year old nephew have it put together in 2 minutes, he was outside having fun with it in 3! It was the hit of the party, the only problem being the line of adults who wanted to have a turn! Very enjoyable and lots of outdoor fun, they played with it all day!

We bought this for our son on his 4th birthday. He thought it was super cool. Several other parents at the party commented that they too owned this and loved it. It is easy to use and thrilling to watch. The only reason I rated it "plays with it frequently" instead of "won't put it down" is because it requires us (his parents) to be outside with him and sometimes it is just too hot or we have other chores to attend to.

The Stomp Rocket was a late birthday present for my grandson and when he and his sister were dropped off to spend an afternoon with Gramma, we opened his gift and immediately went to the park accross the street and had great fun. We played for about an hour and went back home because the hot weather was getting to us.
The kids loved the rocket and were going to take it with them when they go to Hawaii with their family on vacation.

The foam top rockets are made very cheap and the three red wings at the bottom crack and break off after a few times used. Paid too much for it and would not recommend to others.

This ultra stomp rocket was given as gift to a 6 year old boy. All of the boys and girls from 3 to 8 years old enjoyed the rocket at the party. As parent, I like that it is a simple, fun toy that does not require batteries, does not make noise and but it got the kids moving and kept their interest for a long time. I will get this again, probably for my own kids. My only con is that it doesn't appear the rocket would hold up very long with most kids. My kids tend to treat their toys well and it would last long for them, but I think most children would damage the stomp rocket fairly quickly.

We have purchased the Stomp Rocket for almost every kid's birthday party (boy and girl) for the last two years after my own son got one and couldn't stop playing with it. The usual age we give it to is 3-6, and we hear back from the parents that the Stomp Rocket was by far their most played with toy once they got home (and usually the parent is having as much fun with it as the kid). It definitely won't disappoint. We have tried the other versions, but the yellow and red rockets are by far the best.

I purchased this for my Grandson's 8th birthday. He really liked it and he and a friend played with it right away. The only problem I have with it is that it will not last very long because of the plastic legs. I was disappointed that while they were playing with it the legs had to be put back together just about every time they wanted to stomp on it. For this reason it won't last very long. I would like to see more products produced with a more stable material even if it cost more.

Comes with two foam rockets & easy step-up launch triangle. The materials were flimsy and were destroyed within a day of use, especially the part that you step on to launch the rocket. The rockets flew high, one actually got stuck on our roof. Unfortunately, this toy didn't last.

We bought this product for a friend because the boys played with one like it this past summer. The boys had a hard time playing because the adults kept pushing them away so they could play.

My 6 year old son is really enjoying the stomp rockets. They are great because he can use them outside, but because the rockets are so light, it's also fine to play with inside since they can fly around and won't damage anything. Great toy.

Big Hit. The 12 year old immediately put it together to play with it indoors even thoughit is and outdoor toy. He reduced his stomp for indoor use. His twenyu-three month old brother spent the remainder of the evening retreiving he rockets. At one point he took what looked like a hard fall. We asked him if he was okay. He got up and said "funny" and continued to run after the rockets.

The kid puts the rocket on the launch pad and then jumps on the base and sets the rocket into the air. The more power in the jump the higher it goes. Kids get to run after it and try to catch it. Lots of fun for a group of kids. Bought it for a 7 year old and hasnt put it down yet.
Looks like it should last awhile but who knows with kids. But at the price that it is you can afford to not get upset if it breaks. Plus you can buy refill rockets in case they fly away.

i bought this for my 7 yr oldson, who first saw a rocket a few months ago. it was very easy to set up, and he loved it, & is still playing with. he needed zero instruction on how to use it, it's very straightforward. large rockets, with large foam tips helps so they're long lasting & just bounce off items.

I bought the Ultra Stomp Rocket for my grandson's fifth birthday and it is a huge success. He and his friends love it and playing with it never seems to get old. I highly recommend this toy!

I would use this toy constantly if I could get away with it. I have used it for teaching gross motor skills, counting, taking turns and many other important skills forchildren. There are many ways to use it with kids, I look forward to seeing how it goes with adults.

This product was given to a four year old for his birthday. Even though it is suggested for children five years old and older, it was a major hit. It is easy for him to use. We bought the extra rockets and are sure they will be useful once the originals are all up on the roof of the house in hard to get to places.

We bought this for our grandkids to play with when they stayed here for their "week at Grandma and Grandpa's" We gave it to them after dinner one night and they played with it til the streetlights came on and they had to come in. They are ages 10, 6 and 4. They made up scoring points, estimated heights of the rockets, tried different types of jumps etc.(one foot, two feet, running jump, backwards jump etc.) and were thoroughly loving everything about it. They loved it !!! We also bought one for another grandchild's birthday next month and after seeing what these three think of it, we can hardly wait to give it to Willy ! Great toy, easy to put together and lots of learning to be done if the child uses his/her imagination.

Gave this as a gift to a 5 year old boy. It was the first toy he wanted to open and play with. After the cake they were all out in the backyard with it. From the sounds of the shouting they were having a lot of fun with it. Very glad I purchased it.

This is a great gift for all age ranges - my 3 year old could do it and run after it and the 7 year old boy that we gifted it to was always playing with it. It was a solid choice for the broad range of kids ages that kept entertained for hours. The adults even got into it to see how high it could go.

I have two boys, ages 6 and 3, and really debated about getting this rocket or the jr. version-but am glad I went for this one. They were outside for hours with their dad to see who could get their rocket to go the highest. I'm planning on stocking up to give as gifts for friends' birthdays!

I first saw these Stomp Rockets at a playground. Another parent brought it and every child 3 and up immediately ran to play with it and a big group of them played until we had to leave. I just bought this for my nephew (4) and it was an instant hit again. Everyone was playing with it at the birthday party -- aunts, uncles, grandparents but most of all the kids. It's just fun!

The Stomp Rocket is such a great outdoor toy! It was fun for the entire family to see how high we could make it go! My daughter had purchased a similar toy for my grandson several years ago but she said that this one was much sturdier and well constructed. I bought this for my nine year old nephew and I'm not sure who was more excited about it... his father or him. They immediate set it up and went into the back yard and started to shoot rockets. We were all impressed at how easy it was to set up, how easy it was to make a rocket fly high and how much fun it was to try and catch the rockets on the way down. It was a great gift!

This toy was a success! I took my niece (7) and nephew (5) to the park to play with the Stomp Rocket and kids around watched from a distance with interest and slowly started gravitating toward us until we had a line of kids waiting for their turn. Even a parent asked me where I bought it, because he saw how much the kids enjoyed it, he wanted to get one for his kids. I highly recommend it.

I gave this to my nephew for his 6th birthday. He, his 4 yr old sister & 5 year old cousin had a blast (no pun intended) with

My grandson, just 4 yrs. old absolutely loved this toy. It was fun watching him try to send these rockets as high as as he could. Each time leaving a look on his face that was absolutley priceless. He knew how to work it, and he knew what it took to send it higher. He took it wherever he went the rest of that day. I really suggest this toy to anyone who is shopping for something for gift, whether it be a girl or a boy.

The Ultra Stomp Rocket proved to be a GREAT gift for my 4+ yr. old grandson. It assembles VERY easily and quickly (the 3-piece stand slides together), and the rockets are soft enough to use indoors, yet sturdy enough to use outdoors, too. Perhaps it's BEST feature is that it does not have any annoying sounds or lights, and does not require batteries--just 'kid power' . The air-powered launch pad is sturdy enough for an adult to use,too, as my grandson and his Dad BOTH had fun with it! Another great thing about the Ultra Stomp Rocket is that it can be used alone by one child, or shared with several kids (and adults, too). Judging from the amount of time that my grandson has played with the Ultra Stomp Rocket, I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone!

I purchased this item for my five year old son for Christmas and he loves it. The rockets are fairly durable - except for the fins. This doesn't effect the flight however. Invariably a five year old will step on the lauch pad and it is easily reassembled. Recommended.

This was a hit with all of the kids, young (24 months to six years). I was unable to order extra rockets (back ordered), but I definitely will get back ups for the ones that land in the trees or on the house.

The Stomp Rocket went over very well as a Christmas gift for my 8 year-old grandson. His 5 year old sister also enjoyed it. My grandchildren were delighted with the Stomp Rocket and contests were made to see who could make it fly the highest. I think that 'dad' was the biggest competitor! I had purchased an extra pack of rockets as well to have on hand and was glad that I did because each grandchild could have their own rocket - since this was the toy that seemed to attract them all this Christmas!

My four year old grandson opened the package, put the stomp rocket together, and launched a rocket, all by himself! I just wish he could read, because then it wouldn't have happened inside, during Christmas dinner... However, no harm was done and he's enjoying the stomper, with supervision.

We just last night gave this to our 2-year-old grandson for his birthday. We are sure when the birthday dust settles, he will enjoy his Stomp. In the meantime his 5-year-old brother thought Stomp was the best thing since sliced bread. He came up with some innovative ways to use it: instead of sending the rocket up, he directed it to go along the floor, trying to hit our feet as we walked across his trap.

The Stomper was a little flimsier than expected. We have had trouble using the sticks to align the rocket skyward. However, my grandson loves the concept. He has played with the rocket quite a few times already.

I got the Ultra Stomp rocket for a birthday present for a 7 year old boy. This simple toy was the hit of the party. Everyone from Grandma to my 4 year old were having fun stomping away. They even found a way for his 16 month old brother to play by plopping him down on the stomp pad. It does seem a little flimsy though, so I'm not sure how long it will stand up to the kids.

We only have to be careful of uncles who adjust the direction and hit children--althought no one gets hurt because of the foam tip. I also know of a physics teacher who uses Stomp Rockets to teach certain properties of force and distance.

I purchased 2 of these for my 2 grandsons and they were a huge hit, not only with them, but with Dad and Grandpa, too. I was a little concerned that it might be one of those toys that lasted about 5 minutes, but so far, so good. Even the adults did some stomping and the toy held up. We had great fun.

A friend of ours had one of these and we had to buy one for our house. My 3 year old loves it and can set it up herself. My husband loves seeing how high he can get the rocket to launch. It is fun for the whole family.

After using this stomp rocket at friend's house, I bought a stomp rocket from a different manufacturer. It was a bust as it was impossible for my then 2.5 year old to get the rocket off of the launch. After some searching this summer, I finally found the stomp rocket that my children had played with at their friend's house. They absolutely love it and play with it for at least an hour at a time (bonus for me). The rocket is very easy for my children to launch, they are now 5 and 3 and can get the rocket at least 20 feet in the air (they can't get it 200 feet, but my husband and I have been able to get pretty close to that).
I also purchased the junior stomp rocket refill. The junior stomp rockets and the ultra stomp rockets can be used by the same launcher.
I am purchasing another one of these to bring as a gift to a birthday party. Every family should have one!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I purchased two sets of the Ultra Stomp Rocket for my sons who are 6 and 7 years old. We used them on the 4th of July as an alternative to fireworks since we were camping in the mountains. The boys were not disappointed and never once asked for fireworks instead. The rockets are very durable and shoot quite high into the air. I love the adjustable launch pad that allows you to directs where your rockets will go. As a precaution I had purchased extra rockets in case the ones with the set didn't last very long. That was not necessary and we haven't even opened the extra set. This product brought hours of fun for our entire family. It is nice to have a quality toy on the market!

My 5 year old son loves this toy! It's fun to stomp on the air pad & to see how high you can launch those rockets. We launched them in an area away from trees and houses so we wouldn't loose any rockets. Neat toy.

Bought two of these for my grandsons, ages 3&5, and they LOVE them! Even got the parents and neighbors out there stomping and running after the rockets. Highly recommend for everyone!!!

We've got five Stomp Rockets now. Nothing attracts a crowd at the park like the Stomp Rocket. It's totally safe, even if my three-year-old nails another kid on the head. They're foam. So I bought two for our relatives' kids and haven't heard how they like it yet. My guess is their roof is loaded with rockets. The only downside is when the plastic tube splits and the air no longer reaches the rocket.

We absolutely love the stomp rocket! Not only is it a fun family activity with our three year old, the whole neighborhood comes out when they see the rockets flying in the street.

The3 and 6 year old kids really enjoy playing with this, however the stand for the rocket launcher is pretty flimsy and does not hold together. Also, the position of the launcher moves quite a bit.

The stomp rocket is great for boys and girls of any age. My kids are 8, 7, 3 and 1, and each of them enjoyed playing with it. It's simple to use and put together and works well.

I bought one for my son (3) and his cousin (5). His cousin was receiving it as a birthday present and the kids played with the rocket throughout the whole birthday party! Now both grandmothers are purchasing more for the other cousins! Even the adults have had some fun :)

This was a birthday gift for my 8 year old grandson. Both he and his 5 year old sister enjoyed shooting the rocket in the air while others tried to catch the rockets on their way down. Later, both his Mom and Dad commented on how much he liked this toy. So far, it's a big hit.

I purchased the stomp rocket for my grandkids Easter basket. We took it outside after lunch and the kids loved it. In fact, we were having so much fun that the other adults inside the house came out to join the fun.

My girls LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this toy. We have hit several items in the house with it but no damage so far! ;) The ends of the rockets are really foamy and just bounce off of everything. It's very portable so it's easy to pack up and take to the park. You won't be sorry with this purchase!

The recipients have not gotten these stomp rockets yet, but we've had them used them, and loved them in the past. I like to have a decent selection of good generic gift toys stashed, and these fit all of my requirements. I like toys that most people won't be likely to have already, they can't be gender specific, and they need to be good for a broad age group. These are also a bit educational without being dull as some allegedly educational toys can be.

Loved the simplicity of the Ultra Stomp Rocket. Great to have a fun toy that didn't need batteries. My 4 yr old grandson loved the Ultra Stomp Rocket also. Not only did he launch the rocket upwards, he tried to target things to shoot at.

I can't tell you anything about this toy because I bought it for a Christmas gift. I can tell you that I have never seen one before and I think my 8 year old son will really enjoy this (and my husband). If it doesn't work very well, I'll let you know after Christmas
