Wedgits Junior Set

We ordered the Wedgits Junior Set after my son (now age 3) took a very strong interest in the Wedgits Starter Set. We purchased the starter set for him for his second birthday and he showed no interest, so I held on to it for a year and brought it back out for his third birthday. He absolutely loved it and he wanted to do nothing but build with his wedgits. At first he made his own structures and then he started replicating ones in the book that comes with the set. He then noticed that there were structures he could not build because he didn't have enough pieces and some of the smaller pieces that come with the Junior Set. So, we now have the Junior set too and he is having a ball building mostly his own creations. His friends ages 3-10 also love the wedgits and we have to implement sharing rules so they can all have time with them.

I purchased this toy as a christmas gift for my 3 year old son. He has not had a chance to play with it yet, but he has had the chance to play with one like it at the doctor's office. He LOVES it! That is why i bought one. The possibilities are endless with this toy. You can stack it so many ways and it is nice to see him figure it out. When he gets it wrong that is nice to see as well because he is learning from that. Great toy and it's educational. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

My 3 year old nephew has become very interested in playing with blocks, so I thought I'd try something a little different and give him a set of Wedgits to try. He has only used them once so far and thought they were "cool." He handled them easily and definitely seemed to like them although he mainly used them as props for his cars rather than trying to build anything with them. I thoroughly enjoyed building things with them though and he was interested in what I was building and would hand me pieces to help, so I can easily see him becoming more involved with them in the future.

This is the third set I've bought for grandchildren. It always turns into a family gift since everyone from toddlers to grandpa and grandma love to see what they can build next.
Easier stacking than blocks

I wanted to buy the Wee Wedgits set but it wa backordered, so I got this one and just put away the little white swallowing -hazard cubes. My one-year -old (bought for his birthdaY) *loves* the set. Because of their design, these stack successfully in all sorts of ways, even for someone his age, who can't yet stack blocks. He puts them together, dumps them out, puts them together again. You can kind of see the wheels turning in his head. I don't know if they are teaching him early math awareness the way that I think they are, but he is having a great time, regardless. This is also a toy that we can put away when he tires of it and bring out again months later- it will grow with him for years, if we expand the set. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

My daughter used these once at a friend's house & that's all she asked for for her birthday. She is captivated by all the different designs that you can make with them. She even trys her own designs without used the design cards. It's a great toy to get your child thinking outside the "box"!

Wonderful toy for kids of all ages! My 2 year old and 5 year old cannot get enough of Wedgits. There are so many ways to play with these sets.

This product is one of the best toys we've ever bought for the kids. They took to it right away. It's a unique take on the building block concept. It wasn't only fun for the kids, but adults are being drawn to it as well. This will definitely be a toy that we will buy additional add-ons for.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. I find that most of the time, she tends to make pyramids with it. It does not encourage her to think broadly, as I hoped it would. At her age, she is not interested in looking at the designs in the brochure and replicating them. Perhaps, when she is a little older, she might do more interesting things with it.

Our 2 year old loves it. She really enjoys stacking the blocks and concentrating on making different designs. We also have a 4 year old who also really likes building with this. Now that I have seen both kids playing with it, I am sure I will buy the other set with more pieces so they can play together and build.

Our son attends a Montessori school & uses these in his work. He had one set of 15 and wanted another set of 15 to do some of the 30 piece designs. Great quality. Wedgits engage him for quite awhile & build his confidence!

Outstanding! I got Wedgits for two of my grandchildren and was extremely impressed watching the chldren playing with them. They really enjoyed the challenges of looking at the ppictures on the cards and reproducing the configurations. They are both almost 6 years old, and I will get the larger sets for them before long.
Creative, Different Toy

My almost 5 and 3 year old children both enjoy this toy. My older one can build some of the pictures in the booklet, while my 3 year old makes her own creations. They sometimes build things together and enjoy knocking them down. I also enjoy building with them, where we each take a turn adding a piece. I really like that it is different from their other toys and I like seeing their reactions when they try to put a piece on and it either stays, or doesn't. Also, I always like toys that are compact!

Excellent and creative product. The toy is colorful, sturdy and the shapes are wonderful. It has endless possibilities. With all their toys, my grandchildren keep going back to the Wedgits. They never get tired of them.

My son first played with these at the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry in Portland, OR, and I had to get a set. This is a great toy that really brings out creativity in a child. My son loves it, and we are going to have to buy more sets of these so we can build more things. My husband and I play with it to. It's really a great toy invention.

I have given Wedgits Starter Set and now Wedgits Jr. The two boys (4 and 10) both enjoy this toy. The 4 yr old just plays with them, the 10 yr old examines the diagrams to recreate them. I will be purchasing additional Wedgits in the future.

Our boys still use this toy (and so do I). It is fun for all ages and helps the children develop their spatial and engineering skills. We have given this toy to others as gifts for years.

This is a toy that really spans the age groups. My 6 year old son LOVES these blocks. He can spend a lot of time independently building the creation ideas that came in the package, and create his own as well. I also got a set for our 11 year-old friend who was even more intrigued by what could be built with them. My 2 year old also enjoys trying to make creations with them. They sure have gotten a lot of use at our house!

This is a fantastic learning toy. I bought it for a 3 year old, who couldn't stop playing with it but he was forced to stop because the 8 year old and all the adults wanted to try it out and then couldn't put it down either. It was crazy. We spent a week exploring the possibilities and this is only the junior set!
