Great Toy Overall

My 5 year old son got the regular wedgits but when he saw the catalog of all wedgits, he picked this toy out as an add on item. I was really amazed at how good he was at looking at the picture and try to replicating it. I think it's great to stimulate his spatial abilities with this game.
Drawbacks are that the little diamond shaped pieces break easily. We had 3 or 4 of them break already. Plus the high cost is a bit of a drawback as well

I think the idea of Wedgits on Wheels is good. However, it is expensive and I don't think the package included enough pieces to create a variety of cars once the wheel assembly is put together.

We enjoy wedgits. The age group of my daycare haven't been able to build the vehicles but they fit right in with all the other wedgits we have.

This is great for even my three year old to play with. She can't WEDGE the wheels yet but it's great for teaching balance and working with different shapes. She really like me to start to build it and for her to "decorate" the cars. Havings the pictures or the cards with the pieces is great because it teaches problem solving and following directions.

My 6 year old son loves this toy, but I agree with a previous reviewer that perhaps it would have been better if there were some additional pieces to make more of a variety of vehicles, but my son does not seem to mind that!

My son (age 3) loves Wedgits, cars, and trains, so we had to get Wedgits on Wheels. He loves them. He needs a little help to build the axles, which we are only to happy to give him since we love playing with them too! The resulting designs roll easily. Four wheels are included along with enough pieces to build complex vehicles. They are completely compatible with all other wedgit sets. I highly recommend this product.

The Wedgits sets that I ordered have already become favorites among the kids at our church. They are used as a pre-session activity. The kids are drawn to the bright colors, adaptability of the toys, as well as the fact that they can build as a group or by themselves.

Last Christmas my, then 4 year old, son received a smaller set of Wedgits and loved them. For his 5th birthday in October he wanted the biggest set they had. My 8 year old loves them too when her brother lets her play. The wheel set is for her so she has some negotiating power. A terrific gift for all ages, (my husband and I have been known help build with these too).
